Well, I should probably point out that it's 'hot' by my standards, which is probably just temperate to other people.
I didn't know what hot even was I until I moved to Australia. 
First time I came over here to stay with family in the middle of summer I actually couldn't breathe when I stepped out of the airport. I pretty much failed at looking casual.

Fact:
The longest time I didn't sleep was about 80 hours, I didn't do that our of free will, mind you. It was in military service simulating battle conditions and it was horrible.
The longest time I was asleep non-stop was about 30 hours, that day before I was really drunk and I think I suffered from alcohol poisoning. I puked like mad before falling asleep. That day I also discovered that mixing Beer with Cognac is a baaaad idea.

yeah we got some really bad winters here too i mean we had about 5 feet of snow untill it started melting then it took like 5 weeks to finnaly melt but erie doesnt have that bad of an economy nice summers and springs here thoughsurfgirlusa_2006 wrote...

Well, it depends what part you're in of course, but overall I'd definitely say it's more prone to rain. The weather is a bit capricious though, we have a joke about 'four seasons in a day' because sometimes you'll get all dressed up warm for the rain, only to have it stop and the sun come out ten minutes later, then wind, then rain again, then hot, etc. I've noticed where I live in Australia, when it rains, it just rains. It'll pour down non-stop all day. Back home rain likes to be unpredictable and mess with you.
