I had a similar situation. Though this was in year 11.

The guy sitting behind me wouldnt stop poking me (insert random joke here) i asked him to stop poking me four or five times. One poke to many and i stood up picked up my chair and just started hitting him with it.

I am usually a relaxed guy, but everyone has limits.

The best part? The last poke wasn't him, his freind decided that it looked like fun.

I think the only time anyone's bullied me was in seventh grade. This kid had been making comments about me for some time, but I was never really bothered by it. Well, one day when I was playing baseball in the school field with some friends, he started talking crap, calling me names, and pretty much tried to make me feel god awful about myself (I was a little shorter than him, but not by much). Well, being the arrogant SOB I was, I just walked over to him with bat in hand, and pointed at his chest, and told him to shut the f^_^ck up. He did.

He would sometimes make little quips at me as we passed in the hall, but I really never cared after that. He just didn't have the same aggresiveness in his voice, and he seemed much more cautious. 

Moral of the story? Do not make fun of people with baseball bats in their hands.
