I once lost the key for my bedroom - I was so mad about it (and a little bit drunk) that I kicked the door in. Unfortunately the door frame went to hell instead of the lock and getting it repaired was expensive.

On new years eve I managed to put a firework mortar shell upside down into the tube, standing next to it,it was LOUD as the mortar exploded into tiny bits. The burning parts of the shell burned holes into my jacket.

On new years eve I like to rip off the guiding stick of a big rocket to ''cook'' and throw it like a grenade. Result is that it explodes only a few meters away from me. The really big ones you cannot buy without special permission create MASSIVE explosions and small craters.

Not every inhibition is casually thrown out, even under those circumstances. It was more that dancing was part of the ritual, and since I already stripped for it, not dancing would have been silly.

If someone asked me to do more I would have flatly refused. I know at least one couple in attendance that did sneak off later to do just that. :innocent:

Anyway, the only time I'd be nude in public would be for some acting (If I ever got into it seriously). That's it. Period.

Call me a prude, but I'll not be dancing in the nude!

Seriously though, there is nothing wrong with dancing nude. It's an entertaining thing to do and no different from dancing clothed; except you're not. Now, dancing nude around a gathering of other people isn't something I'm sure I'd do again. But dancing in nude for the hell of it, or for a private audience of one? Why not?

I used to, not so much anymore.

The weirdest one was when I was staying in a motel and the beds were made with 3 layers, sheet, blanket then quilt.  I woke up to find the blanket on the floor but the sheet and quilt still on me properly. 

EDIT:  another time I woke up in exactly the same position as I'd gone to sleep in, but my big-bird toy had gone from the room side of my bed to the wall side.  Had me convinced that my toys were alive for years

Anthropological curiosity: why is nudity such a big issue in the US? OK, OK, I know all the jazz about the protestan ethic and so on but come on; we´re in the XX century, not in the times of the Mayflower...

I know it´s not the most beautiful on the face of Earth, but I´m quite confortable with my body and I don´t have a problem with being nude. I have even performed almost nude before.

Really, the main reason is our purintanical background. I'm not religious, so I'm probably not the best person to talk to, since I don't quite understand the whole thing...

For the non-purintanical folk, they don't do it because it's illegal ("indecent" exposure) in many states and people don't want to get arrested.
 
Honestly, I could care less if people walked around nude. Me? I value my golden satchel, and I don't want to make it a target for the cruel, cruel world we live in.
