In my opinion polearms are crucial in a medieval game, I dont know why the heck BW didnt include them. Polearms are great to fight big enemies and keeping them at distance.

Plus it adds the posibility of formations.

It´s quite uncomon for a Western style game to see weapons like the kris, katara or the bagh nakh, but those would be  cool additions.

The name itself is clearly descriptive of what they are: big knife.
