I must say, I'm rather shocked that you haven't broken anything. Posted Image

Indeed. Packaged goods and carrots are a bigger threat to my health than anything bone breaking.
Although the wrist thing wasn't my fault. It's one of those things that happens when people jump on you  And then get let off  Because they were "bullied" Yeah, I don't miss school at all.

EDIT: Vanguard, good luck. You'll be fine

Since we are in the surgery theme now, i will add an interesting fact not about me, but about my father. 7 years ago he needed to undergo a surgery to install a pacemaker in his heart. Nothing big, right now he's even healthyer than me i think. But the funny fact is that, being a marvel comics fan, he calls his pacemaker a "cybernetic implant" :D

I had Surgery once. When i was about 10 my arm got cut open in a big (and really deep) U shape and a shocking amount of my arm kind of just flopped open so i could see a loooong way in.

Very strange experience.

Good luck Vanguard!  *bearhugs*
If we're talking about medical stuff that has happened to other family members, my youngest sister had a brain scan once.  When asked about what they found in her skull, her answer was "Nothing!"  Well, she was never the brightest crayon in the box...

I'm suddenly a thousand times happier.

My story finally got a vote in the contest! I won't win, but I was starting to get a bit down about getting no votes. Yay :)

*gives Seagloom a lollipop*

Does that help? I guess I won't mention the time that I got a bullet in my leg, though that wasn't nearly as gory as some of the other things mentioned here.

Anesthetics have very little effect on me, unfortunately I needed a tooth root canal treatment not too long ago.
The doc gave me an anesthetics shot but it didn't work at all, my tongue felt itchy and it burned but I still felt pain. Needless to say that the canal treatment was pure nightmare.
I felt everything from the part the doc put needles down my tooth nerves till the '' tooth canal cleaning'' with the drill and pulling out bloody parts of my tooth nerves.
It hurt so bad whenever the doc put the spiked needles down my tooth root canal to pull out the nerves, you cant imagine.

The best part was when the doc said that I need another two sessions to get everything out. :pinched:
They were equally horrible.

Thanks for the lollipop! :D (And apology AntiChri5. Not that it was needed, but thanks. :) )

@The Woldan - I went through that once. It sucked. It reached levels of suck heretofore unseen by man or beast. My dentist said to raise my hand if I felt it wasn't enough anesthetic. I did, so he shot my gums with a needle two more times. I *still* felt pain, but at that point all the needle shots (it was around six by this point) were driving me crazy so I figured I was numb enough and could bear it. Big mistake. The pain was excruciating. Only getting my wisdom teeth pulled felt worse. Sorry to hear you went through the same. Worse most likely. >.<

I am now getting my wisdom teeth pulled.
The first 2 were the upper ones and it went smoothely.
The third one needed some cutting and even when my lips and tongue became numb i still felt the pressure going through my jaw <_<

But i could bear it, because i remembered the one time, where a doc straightened my broken nose....
but THAT should really go in the mentioned topic, so i spare you the details ;)
