My 11 year old sister has the same shoe size and almost the same hand size

Um...I don't know? You'd have to take that up with person who decided that 4'10 is the maximum height to be considered a legal dwarf.

Back to the topic...

I'm 5'5, which isn't terribly tall, but being Asian(who are stereotyped as being short?) and the fact that I'm taller then my grandma(4'10-5'), mom(5'1), and sister(5'2), it makes me feel tall. It's kinda funny, I can pat my grandma on the head like she is a kid since she is so short. She gets pretty pissed off since its considered rude touch someones head in our culture.

Stereotypes about that, Chiliztri, have to do far more with diet than actual genetic pool. It´s true that how tall you will be is determined by genes; sure, but the fact that your diet is (or isn´t) rich on proteines will determine if you grow more or less.



Complexion goes the same way, counting muscular mass, bone mass and so on.



The Asian continent (I´m counting from Iran till Japan, excluding Syberia as I´ll explain afterwards) has been on a low proteine diet for quite a lot of centuries due to demographical, cultural and (often times very specially) religious reasons.



So, surprisingly; just as us, Southern Europeans, suddenly grew up during the 60´s and 70´s due to diversified diet and avaliability of rich-in-proteine food, population of Asian descent did the same.
