- I have a small collection of various mythological knick knacks. Most of them were gifts from others. Right now I can see a statue of Anubis and Horus from where I sit, as well as an overgrown statue of Don Quixote my dad brought me from his last trip to Spain. People keep giving me these things, and it's starting to get tiring. It's time consuming to dust them. :P

Good girl. Right now on my neck I have some trinckets of that kind in two laces of leather: a set of concentric circles in brass with two horses (from the two settlements I have worked in) and another with a Mjolnir and an Egyptian cartouche. Oh! And a piece of chainmail from the first duel I won! ^_^

No, never. I only carry weapons and armour when I´m going to use them. Call me weirdo, but I respect them a lot and I do not dishohour them.

From time to time I put on my gear just to practice and getting used to the feeling of carrying and moving with much weight on my shoulders.
But no chainmail, ballistic plates and tactical vest with a rifle slung over my shoulder. :P

It´s not that they´re weapons, I treat them as something higher... Celtiberians belived that the soul of a warrior is in their bodies and also in his weapons and armour; particularly in the main blade they used (especially in the falcatas). I may not agree entirely with that, but I equaly respect them and use them appropriately.

BTW Woldan, what vest do you use? I have a plate carrier pre-ordered and it will take some time to come, but it´s a kind of reworked CIRAS and it will be awesome. ;)

I have a tactical molle-vest with integrated plate carrier in the works, but its HEAVY. With 6x magazines packed with .308 and equipment it weighs about 20 kilograms! +5 kg rifle, 2 kg boots, 1 kg 1-piece-suit,  5 Kg tactical backpack....
Thats 35Kg + my 95 kilograms, makes 65 kilograms per foot.
For now I have a simple CCE-camo (french camo) vest without plates and its a breeze to carry, you can run and move like you'd carrying nothing.  But with the plates I feel like a walking tank.

Crazy Americans and their crazy weapons.... Wait, you're not even American, nevermind then. xD

My only weapon is a Katana. And no, I don't think I can deflect bullets with it, I'm not THAT crazy (unlike a certain guy who calls himself Busomjack, hehehe).

Oooohhh...A's. I seem to be lacking in them, but I will list away...Ace of Base, Adema, Alient Ant Farm, All That Remains, Anthrax, Apocalyptica, A Perfect Circle, Arch Enemy(We Will Rise is a great song by them), As I Lay Dying, Atreyu, and Avenged Sevenfold.

Now we will move onto K's....and I don't have a lot of them...: Karsh Kale, Kernkraft 400, Killswitch Engage, Kittie, and Korn. Hmm, I actually thought I had more than that...

And im from the "Southern Pride" :D
So we only miss now a comment from the northern celtics/scandinavians  ^_^

I prefer still my Katana and 2-3 Sai over european weaponery; but that doesnt mean i think budo-weapons are better, or their style of fighting would be better.
In real life i wouldnt obviously wear such things, so a good ol' glass ashtray would be my weapon of choice

Respecting once weapons is okay, but too much care could be a freudian sign of "phallus-ation";
especially when you clean them too much it is like "spanking the monkey"  :innocent:

Well I have a trio of guns chambered in .308, I call them ''The good, the bad and the ugly'', sometimes I call my K98k in 8x57mm ''shoulder-knocker'' because its pretty bad from the shoulder.
The other rifles get less spactacular names like ''the long one'' (Gewehr 98 with 29'' barrel), the ''carbine'' (m44) etc.

My cal. 69 musket launching 735 grain conicals is called the ''headbanger'' because firing it rom the bench feels like getting the head banged against a car door or something.
I am building a 1'' (25,4mm) musket which weighs 40 pounds and shoots 1500 grain round balls, its taller than me! I call it ''mortar'' but its actually a ''siege wall-gun''.

Frightening recoil!:o

Norwegian here :bandit:, I never owned any weapons (too poor :pinched:). A odd fact about me is that I don't really have a main hobby.

Ofc you have weapons! Allways and everywhere! You just have to look :police:
Take a wooden chair for instance: lay it on the side, put one foot on the lower leg and pull the upper leg out
TADAAA! :wizard: you havey Club! One of the most basic weapons of mankind!
Now take a hammer (also a good weapon) and upgrade it with some nails!
Afterwards you can attach a small chain to another leg and now you have a Morning Star!

And so on and so on goes the evolution of weaponry :D
