Hi,
I've just installed the game and everything was ok, but when i reach the game menu I can't click on anything (though I see the cursor). I've tried switching to window mode, changing resolution in the configuration panel, but it doesn't work.
I've seen that other people have the same problem, but I couldn't find a solution. Anyone knows how to fix this?
Thank you!
Mouse doesn't work!

Unfortunately I have no idea how to fix this. The mouse is controlled by your mouse and video driver (especially since the game uses a hardware mouse pointer).... so I would guess the problem lies in your video drivers.
But to be safe... if your mouse uses some special custom drivers.. reinstall them... make sure you have the latest videodrivers (and if you do, reinstall them anyway)
That's about all I can offer, I haven't seen this issue pop up anywhere else with DAO

You dont have an odd setup like 2+ monitors or one of those uber wide ATI displays do you?

My mouse was working until right after I alt+tabbed to my desktop and back. Then the cursor was still highlighting options but there was no response to mouse click. I uninstalled the game, reinstalled mouse drivers, still doesn't respond to mouse click.

Thats usually a graphics thing (in my experience).
Try setting the graphics options down a bit in the Configuration application (from the launcher click Configure) and see if that helps.

I found a solution, at least it worked for me: I added a new account to my windows login, logged in as the new user, and now the main menu recognizes my mouseclicks again. Hope this helps others out there with the same problem I had.

That makes it sound like the other user account has some other software loading that is interfering with the mouse. It could be acceleration software, special gaming mouse software, etc. The new user won't have the 'per user' startup entries that the old one did - so you should be able to compare the different startup programs (/what programs are resident) and find the culprit pretty easily.feeeny wrote...

Logging on to Windows under a new user account worked for a little while, then I ran into the same problem again: the main menu does not respond to mouse clicks. So, I don't think it's a difference in software loading. I just now logged into yet another new Windows account and the mouse clicks are working, but it won't let me load my last save.
