It's funny, I should've seen it coming. I was up to the Collector ship mission, thinking to myself, "I like the new gameplay, I like a lot of these new characters, and everything looks great...but I dunno. The Collectors? They seem kinda conjured from nowhere to be the middle-chapter baddie. They should've foreshadowed them in the first game at least a little bit."

There were a few good surprises but the one that actually shocked me in an 'oh crap' kind of way was Kelly getting food processed in front of my eyes.

I didn't think the Prothean revelation was that big of a deal to be honest... I WAS like "ohhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!" when Harbinger "released control" of the Collector general, though, and I was mad pumped when Normandy blasted the Collector ship.

I'd go with the collector thing in terms of plot. That or Legion and the whole reveal about Heretics and Geth. Had no idea that was coming. Until I got the Geth shield item on Tali's loyalty mission and was like "now who would Geth style shielding? EDI could get an android body?...."



But the bathroom thing did surprise me too. And I found out the same way "Hey check out my hamster haha oh wtf theres a bathroom over here"

See, I made the mistake of reading the description wrong. It says "Upgrade squad members with Geth shield technology", which I read as "use Geth shield technology to upgrade your squad members," instead of "upgrade squad members who have Geth shield technology."

I was gonna say something like the Collector attack on the Normandy and all your crew getting kidnapped (there was a moment when I thought it was all just Joker having a nightmare and he'd wake up and be all "WOAH EDI I HAD THE CRAZIEST DREAM")....

....but god damn now that I think about it, I too had the Space Hamster/SURPRISE BATHROOM moment.

Lol. It had me so confused, even after I got it I was like "who in the world could use this?" And I didn't want to find out and spoil anything, but there was that one last spot that wasn't filled yet so my younger brother went ahead and searched "last squad member" and was like "Do you want to know who it is? It wouldn't ruin anything I don't think" and I relucntantly said yes and he told me it was a Geth named Legion.

I dropped what I was doing and went to get him. Only thing it ruined though was the lives of my crew because I didn't know you were on the clock after the abduction. But damn I did not see it coming.

The most shocking moment for me was when (although it wasn't very shocking) Harbinger released control of the Collector general
