Ok - I honestly think that this would suck big times.
But what do you guys think of maybe a CGI-Movie type thing ?
I think Bioware could pull it off... Cinematic Trailer anyone?

This. I agree. Bioware can already write amazing dialogue with CGI they could just use their own voice actors.

Let use project lazarus and make Stanley Kubrick direct it!

bioware didn't make the cinematic trailer

As for director go big and hope for Steven Spielberg.

Now as for writer get the bioware script department to collaborate ....... Just get the bioware guys to script it the director will always re script it anyway.

Just as long as bioware keep final control of the script.

Well i think Ridley Scott. James Cameron or Lucas.

Movie bout ME Universe would be fantastic since today there isnt much of good sf movies like it where in good old days, but if movie should be maded than should be maded by best possible ppl not like most other trash movies which originaly comme from games.

Ridley Scott can pull it off, as can JJ Abrams. I think Cameron's thing is that he wants to be in total control of it all, from production to directing and so on. With ME, you already have an established universe, and you'll want to get a script writer who's intimately familiar with the setting, so Cameron is not a good fit.

George Lucas is just terrible. I hope everyone suggesting him is joking. He had some good ideas that turned into a good movie, and then he totally ruined it with 1-3 when he had practically unlimited resources. The best movie (Empire Strikes Back), was neither written nor directed by him.

Lucas would probably run this into the ground in order for SW to look like king. Mass Effect could easily trump it, especially his prequels.

A mass effect movie should never be made. Video game movies never turn out well, even when done by talented people.

Joss Whedon, he can do characters & conflict extremely well with plenty of depth, he's already had experiance with Firefly & Serenity in the sci-fi area & Serenity blows most sci-fi films out of the water & done ona  $39 million budget, give Joss a big budget and he'll put that money to good use not just meaningless special effects with unoriginality.like so many films nowadays.

 'Aliens' than 'Avatar'.

They both suck! Aliens is worse than Avatar. Avatar was kinda bad tho.

You have absolutely no taste in movies.

Let me guess, you thought "transformers 2" and "AVPR" were awesome movies?

If Lucas were to make a Mass Effect movie, he would purposely make the movie crappy so that there wouldn't be a chance of Mass Effect stealing the spotlight from Star Wars.

Ridley Scott is the only one who could possibly keep it from being a festering pile of crap. I love Mass Effect and the last thing I want to see is the franchise given a bad name by some hollywood moron.

though i think a movie is entirely unnecessary. the games are already a very cinematic experience.
