I read somewhere you can train adept to use assault rifle or snipers. How can i do this? I need a specific achievment like in the first game? I have imported my character from Mass Effect 1, a soldier, and on my first playthrough i went for Vanguard on Mass Effect 2. Now i start again as an Adept, but i cant figure how to train assault rifles. Can someone help me here?

It's a plot event. You can't possibly miss it, so don't worry.

You remember the collector ship you visited on your vanguard where you could pick a new Shotgun? Same place. The collector base is where you get the weapon training.

If you're playing on Insanity, I suggest the Rapid fire sniper rifle.



If not, do whatever fits your playstyle.

Personally I think the sniper fits the adept better. The sub is essentially an assault rifle anyway

i say choose what you want, most people choose the sniper because it does the most damage

So that's where you get it! Thanks! I though it was a choice when you start the game again, like in the first game if you had done some weapons achievements. But i read in this forum that if you choose once in the ship, you cant choose again in your next playthroughs. Or is it only if you import you mass effect 2 character for new game +?

you only get one additional weapon type no matter how many times you ng+



And really any weapon will work just fine, go with whatever you prefer.
