Hello,
I bought the Digital Deluxe from steam and have been able to install all of the dlc I can find in the promo page however, I cannot find the collector armor and special weapons in the game. I can only find the blood dragon armor.
Cant find collector armor and weapon.

Since you were able to download the install file, I assume this website said the code redemption for the CE/DDE items were a success.
If you only just started the game, I think you have to wait until you can access your personal terminal to get them; i.e. you won't be able to access them when you haven't already talked to Illusive Man and left the station. At that point you should get some e-mails about receiving the items, and they should show up in weapon load-out and armor customization screens.
Edit: Actually, I think I'm wrong about that. I'm pretty sure I could access my Inferno/Collector armor while on the station. Not sure what's going on then. With the code redeemed, the presence of the Blood Dragon armor seems to indicate it's able to authenticate DLC.

But where on the XBOX 360 is the collector armor? I have tried to find it FOREVER.

That is the thing though. It does not show up on the station or anywhere, it just does not show up in the game and neither does the DCE weapons. This is getting irritating.

If you installed from steam right click on the game and go to view your cd keys. See if there are any you need to enter to get the promotion.

For the XBOX 360, you gotta link your gamertag to this profile here online and if you redeem your code from here, you should see an in-game prompt. but I cannot add my gamertag to this profile, it says that MY gamertag is "already being used" WTF!?

Its all linked to the email adress you input into the game.That email should be the one you use for the boards here.Lotta people try using diffrent email adresses and wind up buggering themselves.
Pc users need to download and run the exe's for all dlc.
Profile-->your registered game promotions has all your dlc links on pc.

I got a new Collector's code from EA support chat yesterday to replace the misprinted one that shipped with the Collector's Edition of the game. It registered fine, and I downloaded the content and installed it OK. I can see and use the Collector's Armor, but the collector's assault rifle is nowhere to be found. I got the email at my private terminal, but when I go to the armory it's not there.
Is this because I'm not using the soldier class for my character? If memory serves only the Soldier class is able to use Assault Rifles... Could someone confirm this? Thanks.

That's correct, only the Soldier starts with the ability to use Assault Rifles.
