I don't get this, I don't hear enough complaining about this, some of the the faces are soooo bad

I mean, the main characters look good but custom shepard looks like complete ass... no offence just my opinion

the face editor does take some skill to get a good looking face out of but I've seen plenty of good custom shepards, some I'd consider way better than the default ones (particularly the default femshep)

EDIT: Try out this site for some good custom Shepards. ME2 uses a template code for custom faces so you can copy the codes to your character creator and BAM! a decent face with none of the hassle. (To find the best ones on there simply filter by "rating")

If they've got a bad face its because the maker either isn't very good at making a face, or they just don't care.



Why even complain about it in the first place? The fault is entirely with the user.

male sheps are a beast to make. I think mine is decent tho. But yea, they are a pain in the ass to make.

I agree. I tried making a custom male Shep once. I've never tried that again. The default male Shep is the best option.

The character editor is pretty crap with out many options. That said I've seen plently of pretty Shepards around.

Apart from all the female lips giving Shephard an awkward duck-like smile, what is there to complain about, exactly? Custom would imply it being your fault your character looks like ass.

I'd point to the creator. A quarter of all the male Dragon Age characters I've seen have been better than ALL of the ME males I've seen.

Making an attractive FemShep is damn hard (I've tweaked mine dozens of times and I'm still not 100% happy with it) but my custom ManShap is badass and I think he looks even better than the default VanderShep.
