Most disturbing scene?

There were some shocking scenes, but for me the one scene that really bothered me was the brief scene of when Joker was limping to the engine room and he passed in front of the elevator and there was a large collector dragging a kicking and screaming woman into it. It was like a classic horror movie scene and it was just very powerful to me.
In replaying the game, I looked closer at that scene and to me it looked like that was Kelly being dragged, so at least she did get rescued.

Would have been a logical scene to kill Joker.

I think it's just because they're too busy focusing on saving Joker's brittle ass to pay attention honestly. Heck, I didn't even notice it was Kelly until I looked at the subtitles and noticed who it was that was screaming.GnusmasTHX wrote...
It's weird how no one realizes that that's Kelly.

The recording of the quarian scientist on the Alarei telling her child that she loves him/her (I forget) very much before being killed by the geth.
Ohhh yes, I could not help but fell so sorry for her. The voice acting for ME2 is just incredible.

“Thanks for letting me out, Shepard, I’m going to carve your name instead of mine on my next victim…”
I was way disturbed by it. All the more so because there was no quest or anything, just this message that you couldn’t do anything about. And at the end of the message the guy’s like, “Well, gotta go, Shepard, the people who live here are coming home, it’s showtime!”

Actually,. there was a lot of the EWWWW factor going on throughout the game. The Colonist Smootie, Jacob's father, the asari rapist killer, ewwww. Just.... ewwww.

This isn’t really a “scene”, but I got this really creepy message from a Purgatory prisoner who was able to escape because of the riot I caused.

I thought that message was cool. From that point on I was waiting to find the victim(s) or the guy but never did. Thought he was gonna ambush me or somthing.

And when you go into the Dark Star bathrooms on the Citadel and talk to Jack about her little flashback to Purgatory.
I was holding my controller with wide eyes and an open mouth for about ten seconds solid.

Powerful scene would be: 'Mommy loves you very much' & the last words from Shepard if everyone die at the end.

The look of the giant humanoid reaper was a bit unholy as well.

not distrubing, but powerful is legion playing the recording of an ancient geth achieving sentience. that scene made me scared of my computer for a while.
Reminded me of The Animatrix or iRobot, except with less murder.

Yea that part got me. I listened to it twice and was speechless. They really know how to make characters feel like they matter in this game. Makes me wish they had this much time in ME1.

Was about to post that. I'm surprised it stayed with so many people, it was a minor feature.
