I would like to announce that I made a post asking a question, but then I solved it.

So now I edited this post with a greeting instead.

"Hello!"

In the future, it may help others who are having the same issue (whatever it may be) if you posted what your solution was. Then, just edit the title of the thread and add a [Solved] or something.

Something about how some equip/unequip event and how it was sent to two places, including rules_core, IIRC.

Somebody's gotta preserve the ancient knowledge... Also, having your post deleted does not refund your monthly question quota.

You guys are right, normally I'll leave my question and then provide an update with the solution.

But in this case I was just a complete retard.

overriding EVENT_TYPE_UNEQUIP works in player_core & rules_core

I thought it didn't work in rules_core but it does!
