If they do make a ME MMO, like they are doing for KOTOR, and you could make your own person and squad, maybe even your own wepons, what would you have?

My sqaud would be like this:

Me
Race: Geth
class: Infeltrator (would be sentinel but Geth dont use biotics and I want that sniper rifle)
Skills(chose 4): Incinerate, Overload, Tech Armor, and Armor Pericing Ammo
Wepons(chose however many you like): Rifle, Sniper Rifle, SMG, Heavy Pistol, Heavy Wepon

Squady 1
Race: Turrian
class: Gardian
Skills(squadies get 3): Warp Ammo, Disrupter Ammo, Concussive Shot
Wepons(Squadies get 2): Rifle, Shotgun

Squady 2
Race: Salarian
class: Combat Tech
Skills: AI Hack, Combat Drone, Neural Shock
Wepons: SMG, Heavy Pistol

Squady 3 (not in my party due to 2 being the max)
Race: Asari
class: Malian Yakshi
Skills: Dominate, Reave, Warp Charge (look at Dual Daggers discripton)
Wepons: Energy Bow, Dual Daggers

Energy Bow
Fires one "arrow" of biotic energy at a time, slow to fire but high accuracy and damage, a mix between a assault rifle and a sniper rifle.

Dual Daggers
A newer type of blades that have started becoming more populare beacuse of their abilaty to bipass sheilds and barriers to attack a foe. The twin daggers need the user to get close to their foe to be effective, and can be "charged" with biotic to tech powers.

Let's see if they manage to get a good MMO with TOR. It has a lot potential, for WIN and FAIL.

Adepts would be a big problem, the Biotics would need to be completely revamped. As they are now, they are way to overpowered for an MMO.

Overpowered? Most dont work unless they only have health left, and then they take like 5 shoots to kill.

A Mass Effect MMO could work very well. It would not take much to make the concept work but the abilities and classes would need to be rebalanced slightly. Cooldown timers would need to be increased and the universal timer would have to go. That being said using the structure of ME2 for an MMO would more than likely fail as the classes are too powerful. It is still a great idea regardles but would require some major tweaking for it to work.

This

As for squad (pretty sure Geth would not be an option and you would need to be an organic race):

Me:
Race: Asari
class: Commando (options include Commando, Vanguard, and Justicar)
Powers: Warp, Throw, Reave, Barrier
Weapons: Assault Rifles, Pistols, and Heavy Weapons

Squad 1:
Race: Quarian
class: Mechanist
Powers: AI Hacking, Combat Drone, Overload
Weapons: Pistols, SMGs, Sniper Rifles

Squad 2:
Race: Krogan
class: Battlemaster
Powers: Concussive Shot, Incediary Rounds, Fortification
Weapons: Shotguns, Assault Rifles, Pistols

Yeah, because the 360 is overrun with them.  [/sarcasm]

Seriously, the 360 needs some good MMOs.  PSU is horrible and FFXI is getting close to being 10 years old.  I can understand that the PC players have enough options already but some of us do not.

Have to completely agree with you on this. I just don't think they should stop at ME3. This genre has enough potential to last like a Final Fantasy series.

Wish they were making a Mass Effect MMO instead of Star Wars: The Old Republic... Mass Effect's universe is much more interesting.

They will loose my money. I am done paying Monthly charges for a grinder. I don't want to spend 4+ hours a day to advance a little bit by the end of the week and i don't want wait for other players to entertain myself with videogames.

If they want to include Multiplayer.. fine.. while i don't need it... i can use that on LAN parties. But i don't need an MMO.

And i have yet to be proven that the KOTOR MMO will actually be anything good like the other two KOTOR games (i just can't see that happening with a MMO concept)

I'm fairly convinced that this is the future of Mass Effect.  EA Games president Frank Gibeau has declared that Mass Effect was originally conceived as a trilogy but “will be a franchise for [EA] for a very long time.” (link)  Now with Casey Hudson having already pretty much confirmed that Shepard's story arc will end with ME3 (can't find the link right now, but I'll update when I do), what would the next step be?  I honestly can't see them doing another series of single player RPGs with a new protagonist.  And let's face it, RPGs is what Bioware do.  So unless EA plans to have another of their in-house development teams develop a non-RPG Mass Effect game then an MMO seems like the most likely step.  Personally, I'd be all for it.  There have been a few threads talking about how Mass Effect couldn't work as an MMO but most of these people seem to be under the impression that they'd take the existing game systems and put them into a MMO.  This, of course, would suck.  But building a new game system from the ground up (or adapting SW:TOR's systems, if it's any good - I have a lot of faith) could work.  I'm guessing that the success/failure of TOR will be the deciding factor here...

one single word:

NEVER!

Mass Effect has a so compelling story that I would rather die than to see it (the story/universe) downfitted/retrofitted to suit an MMO

i could sort of see it evolving into something similar to borderlands, but into an MMO? doubtful

I was thinking about this the other day. Could be pretty cool. Though I wouldn't play it unless it were on 360 too.

I wouldn't want a cross platform MMO.  If someone wants to make a console only MMO that would be fine.  I'll stick to PC exclusive MMOs.

Well depending on ME3, I´d say that story will get some closure, not sure what would they put into MMO, it cant be Reapers all over again, after all.

Still if there will be MMO, I guess you wont be creating your own squad, at least not from NPC.

Problem with ME MMO is that as you could see in ME2 it is becoming more of a shooter (well maybe 3 will be different, who knows), so if they wont be making story based on geth attack this, humans lost patience, turian hate humans, asari just joined the fight and salarian running around like coffe squirels, I dont know what would it be about.

Anyway, Id like to have an opportunity to play asari :) Or space hamster, but thats not neccesery.

Wow people really dont want a MMO. I just thought it would be cool for you and your freinds to go around in a big war, with lots of custimizability... May I ask why people are so anit-MMO? Many time while playing through ME 2 I just sat there thinking, "Wow I wish that this was CO-OP" Ex: Garrus recrutment misson, I wanted one person to snipe and someone else to gard the stairs, or someone to go and close the vents while the other stayed with Garrus.
