Wow people really dont want a MMO. I just thought it would be cool for you and your freinds to go around in a big war, with lots of custimizability... May I ask why people are so anit-MMO? Many time while playing through ME 2 I just sat there thinking, "Wow I wish that this was CO-OP" Ex: Garrus recrutment misson, I wanted one person to snipe and someone else to gard the stairs, or someone to go and close the vents while the other stayed with Garrus.

Im not anti-MMO, Ive played wow for few years :) I just say, that even though ME has whole universe of opportuinty, there is not suitable plot for MMO, theres not a conflict that´d carry the game. I cant say there cant be MMO, however. Ill give you wow example (yeah I know Warcraft is a strategy game). You are able to meet all the characters from W3, who didnt die of course, but there is not any significant interaction, maybe few quests, with them.

All the moments you mentioned are just flickers, so creating more of those, and making them atractive for players, is not easy, Id say its a challenge. It can also be added into one singleplayer game, well, Im pretty sure there wont be any so detail SP game anytime soon, but still :)

About the anti-MMO question, man, servers...you are paying for game and servers lag, game have bugs, people are nervous and even when everything is solved, or at least bearable, cooperation with other people can be really frustrating. :)

I don't know about an MMO, but I'd like a more "open" ME game (still single-player) where you can play as someone other than Shepard. I'd imagine it'd work a little like dragon age, where each race has its own "origin" and limited to certain classes. For example: all Asari have biotics, so Asari can play as Vanguards, Sentinels and Adepts whereas Turians are combat focused, so they can only be Soldiers, Vanguards or Infiltrators. Each race could also have passive and non-passive abilities (krogan charge etc).

While I think Mass Effect has the potential to be an amazing MMO, I'd much rather see a single player experience that has a larger, more open world. Like a Citadel with more than one tiny ward. More role-playing options like being able to buy an apartment on large hub worlds would be neat. I'd just like to see BioWare adding more role-playing to the series rather than axing feature after feature. They keep going in the direction they're going now and Mass Effect 3 will be Gears of War with a better story. That may appeal to some people, but that's not why I love this series.

He/She who has the lowest latency wins.

I usually sit at 10-20ms in MMOs...
