One time in my life I would have cheered for this idea... But with the evolution of video games in the past few years, I feel they can truly stand on their own as a medium for story telling. Making a movie out of a video game is reaching the point of becoming redundant. Given the fantastic animation, facial expressions of the characters, and emotion put in by the voice actors, nothing else will measure up. Even if by some chance they produce a good movie, nothing will be good enough.



Not to mention... the countless less-than-b-movie horrors produced by efforts to turn video games into movies.

Only if they put the dialog wheel on the bottom of the screen, and even have the "player" wait in some scenes before clicking.

A Mass Effect movie doesn't have to focus on Shepard and the Normandy crew. I'm sure there are a lot of stories in the ME universe where they can do an original movie.

As long as they don't touch or reference the story that the games tell, I'm cool. Mostly because what happens in the game is MY choice, based on MY actions. Not to be dictated to me by some movie producer.

I'd be very disappointed if they attempted to retell any/all part of the games.
