What the hell?

I'm just exploring the warden's keep and walked into a ruined stone recess of sorts. Now my character seems stuck. Any tips how I can get out? I've only been playing an hour so, so not overly familiar with all the controls yet.

Thanks.

Lmao. I got this in the very start of the game, my character went off the side of one of the ruins and got stuck. I lost about 20 minutes from that but oh well.

Right, I decided to save and reload. I was in the same position but this time my character seemed to be able to move out of it ok with a bid of keyboard hammering.

Very odd!

Cheers anyway :)

Ahhh, you can't say you've REALLY played a game until you've got stuck in the scenery and had to reload an earlier save. Think of it as a sort of initiation ritual.

I got stuck in Ostagar between some logs and ruin. I droped down a few feet and since we can't jump I was stuck there. I went into top down view (PC) and clicked to move about 20 feet away. I moved out of the hole just fine.

Don't know if thats the same kind of stuck but it might help people out aswell.

Fail... is there really no way of teleporting oneself out of stuckness? How annoying...

Ghandorian, your sollution actually worked ;) I reloaded the scene where I was stuck in the terrain and stopped trying to used WASD to get out and right clicked on the terrain instead, and I just teleported there :D Smart of you, or stupid of me.. ;)

I suppose it happens to almost everyone, but doesn't get documented because it's so common that everyone has done it.  However, I recall the first time I had any game that did it to me on a very regular basis.  It was Daggerfall (TES: II).
