Ok so we know Alistair and Zevran are the male options and Morrigan and Leliana and the female options.  So my question is do we know if all four will also be available for same sex options?  I hope we don't get limited in that respect.

probably not all of them will be same sex options, there are people who wouldn't feel comfortable with just bissexual options, and I think it would be extremely complicated to do the time when you have to choose one of them (if you flirt with everyone)

Leliana: I thought you and I were chosen by the maker to be together, but you went to morrigan's tent, shared cheese with alistair and is unshamely flirted with zevran, how could you?

and that for the other three... they could limit the romances like, if you started 2 can't start others, but it would be lame.

they confirmed same sex romanceS in twitter, so, unless it's a grammar mistake, I'd say there is more than one. Can be wrong as well, of course

I doubt all four will be same-sex romance options, and I doubt even more that we will be told before the game is out. I'm just happy they're in the game at all, at this point.

For me, the best in-game romances were in BG:2. The ones with Jaheira and Aerie were both great

Is it possible it might be a character we haven't heard about yet? I do recall them saying that the party members listed on the main site were not all the ones you could possibly get. Does anyone know if that has changed? If it hasn't then it is possible that the same sex romance could be in the unrevealed party members.

No they will go the lame rout. The same sex options will be limited to Morrigan since she is the kind of person that would use sex as a tool to get what she wants. Also Zevran since he was trained to seduce people will have learned to seduce men as well. However the two "good" characters will not be available. Since being gay is something only morally questionable people engage in. Or at least that is what most video games would have you believe.

I was just assuming we'd get one for men and one for women. Although I've noticed things tend to be skewed in favor of more lady-love so we may get two for the ladies and one for the guys. I guess we'll have to wait for more info?

But in character, if Alistair or Leliana are homophobic, I suppose I can understand that.

You're quite right. In the game world, they could be straight-but-not-narrow types. But maybe they could be turned, if they were open-minded...

I guess that's a good point
they are more interesting with their own personalities and sexual preference, I wouldn't like them if they were bi just because you could romance everyone, no matter the gender
And it would make replayability with opposite sex character more empty, because of the lack of differences

I think they should implement it. Like they did with jade Empire. More freedom/options for your character.
But making every romance character bisexual??

you want the game to send the message that everyone is bisexual in nature???
Would make you the other side of the same coin as the ppl your critisizing wouldnt it??


Some characters might just simply be straight.
Just like how you are limited in the number of possible romances. You would be limited in the number of possible same-sex romances. Dont see anything wrong with that. Especially seeing how homosexuality is a relatively rare sexuality.
