The Craftsman, Genlock Rogue

Much like The Architect, The Craftsman was born different from other Darkspawn, able to resist the call of the Old Gods. The Architect and The Craftsman were drawn to each other early in life, and were companions for a time. Eventually, The Craftsman began to raise objections to The Architect's plans, and the The Architect chose to imprison The Craftsman in a forgotten dwarven Thaig. Trapped, The Craftsman studied the various tomes and items left by the dwarves, becoming adept at lockpicking, trap removal, and enchanting. He was also able to hone his fighting techniques while dealing with deepstalkers, giant spiders, and other dangers of the Deep Roads. Recently, he has used his knowledge of dwarven tunneling techniques to escape his imprisonment. Now, he has come to the surface, seeking to end The Architect plans, and The Architect himself.

-Very High Cunning
-Starts with Device Mastery and Lethality
-Can change Enchantments anytime he's with you
-Despises his fellow Darkspawn
-Fascinated with Dwarves

If that is in fact who and what the architect is, that is possible the best idea ive read

I'm going by what I read about The Architect on the DA wiki. It should be fairly accurate.

..and thanks.

Jan Jansen.

Presumable he'd need to be a dwarf instead of a gnome and so he couldn't be a mage anymore but I liked the character. Someone similar could be fun, or it could ruin the atmosphere completely, but that's why I'm not a writer.

I would like to see a badass warrior fighting beside me. Well Oghren could be the 2nd warrior.

So we will have 2 mages Anders and Velanna. A male rogue as seen in trailers. Oghren ( I can say it loudly after many talks. )

So that leaves us 2 other possibility. I think it will be 1 rogue and 1 warrior besides Oghren. We will have 6 companion, 2 from each sounds fair. I wonder if we get a badass warrior for awakening ( I dont count my Warden ofc :P )

And probably 2nd rogue will be a female since Velanna is the only ''confirmed'' female companion yet. Well we can see a Female warrior too. That could be interesting.

A female dwarven fighter and a male elven mage. Both bisexual and romanceable, so that everybody's happy. Neither reminds one of the other allies' personalities or faces. That would be my dream.

I want a real hardcore, not whiny, Templar. A zealot.
A badass assassin, more like Thane and not Zevran.
A blood mage (which I doubt we will have).
A hardcore, whatever it takes, Grey Warden.
A cultist or some warrior from some secret society (could be one of the new specialisation).

A Monk, like the one in the Calling novel, they sound immensely powerful. A female dwarf romance may be interesting, I mean hell just ponder over to ME forums and see the incredible praise Tali gets .. ;) (and its much deserved)

Also Leliana, Sten, Alistair, Shale and Oghren. They were my favourites.

I'm not picky, as long as there are none who appear to be replacements for any of the DAO companions. I would like to see someone with more...initiative though.

I thought everyone was a little too subservient in DAO, though Sten was the notable exception. Everything being left up to the PC was understandable for gameplay reasons, but I kinda wish someone else would just go ahead and DO what they would later go on to whine about. This does have a high potential for biting us in the ass though, but for now at least it seems like it would be cool.

I'm hoping the remaining three companions are a rogue ranger, a reaver warrior (or maybe a warrior with one of the new warrior specializations), and some kind of unique character, a la Dog or Shale. A Steel Golem. A pack mule that fights. (OK, I stole that from Dungeon Siege.) Something else I can't think of ... with unusual abilities. That would be cool.

I'd love to see a monk character, but it looks like no new classes are coming (unless they've come up with a clever way to make monk a specialization for either warrior or rogue).

Oh and one more thought ... much as I'd hate the return of Jan Jensen (shudder), a character that's a bit of a tinkerer and might use some of his own rather unusual & bizarre inventions is always cool. I like the ideas along those lines.

Well since there's not going to be any romances I would like to see a mentor type human male. Someone like Riordan or Duncan. And someone like Kardol, he was an awesome dwarf!

A female elven reaver that you could romance would be something I'd like to see. On that note, we also haven't seen a ranger, a blood mage, or an arcane warrior we can really interact  with either.

A dwarf female thats cute but VERY STRONG would be nice. Someone who is sweet and caring with a bubbly personlity whose female, period--rather than a witchy one. Oh and not religious
