Platforms are like countrys, geth runtimes are like citezens, voteing for decisons, or forming "concesus"
Edit: oh nm, I see what your saying but Geth do travel accross the network, when he "fetches data" he is sending a runtime to go and get mermorys or knoledge from another runtime.

i think legion was a bit over-hyped in the e3(?) preview? I feel like we didn't get to fully explore his character because we get him so late in game (besides the mod going around)

That's why we need him in ME3! Plus...the Tali x Legion banter .
I imagine legion to have a sort of 'transformers dialogue' approach though.
"The boy's pheromone levels suggest he wants to mate with the female." O_O
see the comedic potential for me3?!

I cannot say for the geth-past are still connected as one. Telling that information would not be allowing geth-past to advance on their own as they wish. One in my line, Legion-geth past, said no other species should help another advance, as Reaper-Sovereign helped the heretics.

 One thing I can tell geth-past, Legion's dancing prowess was a factor in the war.

My purpose is served, I can not give the database anymore information about the future to build consensus on. I will, however, join the database and consensus build about non-future ideas.

I read that as soon as you get the reaper IFF (and ultimately Legion) you only have ONE mission to do on your own until the story forces you to the point where the crew gets abducted.



Are you able to continue playing the game beyond that point to do other recruitments/loyalty quests?

Yes but this results in the death of all your crew except Dr chalkwas
