2. Legion appears to already show some basic emotions, even if he doesn't realize it. The whole dialogue about the N7 armor is really obvious, as is his reaction to the Heretic's spying.
3. Why Legion? EDIT: Ack wrong pic

Well, other that the horrifically depressing answer I gave several pages ago...
It's a really interesting thought experiment. You can't go at it thinking of it as just another romance. There's all kinds of variables and things to keep in mind about the character and the fact that he's extremely unique. It's interesting to think of the "ways around" the fact that an organic/synthetic relationship has got a lot of things stacked up against its probability.
