I'm too pleased about having an actual Legion/Tali story to complain or observe stuff like that. But maybe not, since I think I know where you're getting at. Maybe its like it was better when the author was coming up with original situations and not fitting it into the ME2 plot?

But whatever, I still want a sequel. Though I wish more people would take a crack at Legion-centric stories, romance or not. *pointed look*

unless Legion is like a Data character from Star Trek or the Borg 7 of 9... I don't see why they would have a ARMED weaponized robot with the name LEGION, who's a geth onboard a ship.

Legion is the best dancer in the ME universe.  I made a rhyme about it.  Here it is.

Legion's moves are the best in the game
They put the Shepard shuffle to shame

That's right... legion is going to dance the Reapers to death...
