If you've been to Game Faq's, you've probably seen the "glitch" about adding points to an attribute you would like to reduce. Hitting...reset...and then subtracting, not only the 1, 2 or three points you just put in, but being able to subtract an equal amount.
Take this tip one step further..add those now, 6 points ( I used all three) to a perfectly usless attribute for that character and you can subtract 12 points. Getting 12 points to put in attributes that would serve your type of play style...
I did this with my Dog...I got his Magic down to 0..and got all those points to put in stuff he really can use...Since I don't need many Tactic slots for the way I play, at next level up, I'll take a few points away from "tactic" boosters and put them to better use...have fun
Level up..Attribute cheat or bug or...goodie

I dont recommend going down below 10 on any PC. You start getting stuff like negative physical resistance, and my mage already spends enough of his time on his ass.

After I did my Dog.. I thought that 0 might mess something up, so, I changed him to 1 in Magic at the next level up..I took my Warrior and placed his magic at 1 also..reduced the attributes that contribute to Tactic slots...down to 5. So far, so good. I have saved a "clean" game, or I can always change it back at the next level up. Thanks for the feedback.. I just did the Warrior, so I'll look for the changes you suggest..if so, I'll change back....thanks again...
should've known it was probably too good to be true....

Hi..you're right..the changes I made reduced my Mental Resistance to MINUS...whatever...at the next level up, I put a few points back to where I have some Mental resistance.. Other than that, it's still good...better dex and strg make for a great fighter...buffed up the Magic and Willpower of the Mages...noticed a difference..for the good....
If you're careful, you obviously can take a few points from an attribute you don't need that much and put it elsewhere...the key is, don't take too many like I did at first...
I wouldn't have looked at the other screen if you hadn't pointed it out...thanks again..

Its technically cheating since you are glitching the game. As long as you keep all stats no less than 10, I wouldnt say it is hardcore cheating, just optimizing your party (which will make the game easier) but possibly more fun.

You do know that Magic also affects the healing you get from poultices, potions and salves? Besides affecting mental resistance.
Any character needs even a little bit of every attribute.

Any way to forget spells with this glitch? because I have a previous save really far back, and I accidently got too many tomes and can't finish leveling up...any glitch solutions?

The only time I could see using this exploit is if I wanted to pump up both the STR and DEX of a DW warrior.

Why not just do the duplication trick on tomes to get points for what you want?

Generally, I'm against cheating, but if it would help me get over the fact that I made my mage a human instead of elf due to looks, I'm all for it. Those elves need more meat on their bones...

Patching the game to the lastest patch removes this glitch/cheat.
