If I remember correctly you could leave Garrus behind at the Citadel in ME1. A while back before ME2 was released a few people began speculating what kind of effect this might have in ME2 when you recruit him. I haven't seen it been brought up again, or maybe I'm just over looking it, but if anyone has done this would you mind sharing what kind of effect this has? Extra dialogue, etc? It would be much appreciated.

I remember the option presenting itself shortly after Wrex joins the group. I didn't think you could actually ditch him though, very interesting.

I've never tried it myself, but from what I've heard it is possible.

Wow. I completely forgot about this. I'm hoping someone tried that.
Can't you do the same to Wrex also?

I'm not sure about Wrex. If they let you tell him "No" when he ask to come along then probably. Either way I'm just curious. I just want to find out how Bioware executed this. Either they completely ignored the fact you left him and he is still considered to have been on your squad or they have extra dialogue.

I'm not sure if you can leave Wrex or not. You can skip Harkin which leads to Garrus and go directly to take out Fist, then rescue Tali with only Wrex.

Apparently the game doesn't take into account that particular choice. He still acts as if you were old friends and talks about the old times, etc.

Oh okay, that's what I thought, thank you, Liec. I appreciate it.
