Considering your pics have already uploaded (this should go automatically and is turned on by default if memory serves), you can go to the menu in the top-left of the forums under your current avatar picture.

Hover over "Profile" and a menu pops up, pick "Change Profile Photo", a page should open with lots of avatars on it and 2 drop-down boxes, the left drop-down box is above the basic avatars, this one you can ignore... The right drop-down box is where you have to select your game "Dragon Age", if you do and there are avatar pics in there it should show them under the dropdown box. Click on the picture you wish to use and the example avatar on the left will change to the selected picture... If you're happy with your selection click on "Change Profile Photo" and that should be it...

If you have no characters uploaded you should go into the game, login and load a savegame from the character you want uploaded... Either just let it stand there or play with it while being logged in... It should automatically upload it and be on the profile within an hour, however sometimes it takes one or two days and sometimes it lags behind, it still states my mage is lvl 9 when she reached lvl 19.
Also make sure that in the Game's options you have everything checked in the "Online" tab. (Although I believe only "Upload Character Profile" has to be checked)

But I appreciate that I saw this thread before the launch of Awakening and didn't end up spending money on it only to be brutally disappointed when my hopes of Leliana and romances were crushed.

I am single, but never seemed to have much luck with the ladies. I'm too shy I guess! 
Its much easier in the game, someone broken the approval system in the real world!

Maybe this problem should be taken to the PC (?) Technical forum and keep the thread clean for what really is on discussion?!

It will probably be acknowledged, though to what extent is unclear. Just don't expect Alistair to join you on your trip to the deep roads (or wherever DA:A will take us)

We don't really know.. I assume those now on the fence can wait for those willing to play regardless, to let everyone know..  I hope it is at the very least noted in the expansion..

I'm not entirely certain, never gotten this far with my female noble... Is this decision made before or after the final battle? The thing is that the post-epilogue save is made right after the Archdemon is slain, so the question is do the dialogues in the post-epilogue have any variables they save... I remember someone looking up some of those dialogs in the toolset and finding that Sten's dialog choices had no data bound to them (so the decisions where just hot air they had no effect), but if that is true for all dialog choices there no idea...

Oh a Qunari specialist well you are supposed to marry Alistair after 6 months lets hope you get a chance to go thru this (love to see the ceremony that would be a good expansion part) !!!!
