I just have assumption, Velanna have the same haircut with Morrigan, so i think Velanna would be human shapeshifting form of Morrigan?

Obviously, it's Leliana after her latest make-over. At level 26, Bards get the 'use magic scroll' ability.

Other than the hair and them both being female mages they don't really seem to have much in common.

Go back and watch when Morrigan meets the player at the begining of DA:O and then rewatch the Velanna trailer. Very different personalites.

Unless there's weird magic going on, she can't be. Velanna is Dalish not human. One human parent plus one Elven parent equals a human child. Both of Velanna's parents have to be Elven.

I highly doubt she has any relation to Morrigan. Although maybe she also wants to use my poor Grey Warden as a pawn in some evil scheme.

Why are people so stuck on Velanna being awakening's Morrigan. Morrigan = a manipulative cold hearted person. Velanna is pissed off from having her friend's killed and her sister kidnapped(rescuing her sister possibly her personal quest if they have personal quests perhaps?).



She is more like the female city elf origin than Morrigan. (which happens to be my favorite origin story actually)



There are only 3 similarities between them and all are trivial:



Both are mages, both are female, both have same hair style. That is it (so far as that trailer shows anyway) I don't consider all short cute blonde girls to be my gf, just the one that holds my heart.(had to it is valentine's day and it fits the situation)



I guess 4 if you really want to stretch it, both live in the forests.

Is Velanna adopted or is she Flemeth's flesh and blood daughter?

This is cruical due to the nature of elven reproduction and could quite possibly shatter all notions we've had about Flemeth up to this point.

On the topic, I dont really think Velana would be anything like Morrigan. Tho given Grey DeLise is voicing her, well she did Viconia in BG series which is close.

Remeber Lanaya, new keeper of the Dalish Elves. She was recued by Zathrian from human merchants as a child. Velanna's sister was stolen by human merchants when she was a child. Coindence, I think not. Please let me know what you think.
