I am trying to load my ME1 character to play with ME2. We hade recently bought a new hard drive and move all saved games to it. Now when I try and access my ME1 games I get the following error message. 'selected save game could not be loaded. downloadable content missing from xbox modules in question' This refers to the BDtS DLC module, which I have downloaded multiple times and the game still is not able to detect it preventing me from loading any of my ME1 saved games.
Unable to load ME1 character - BDtS DLC missing

Hi,
I am having the same problem, as described here:
http://social.biowar...7/index/1182065
Are you also using a different language version or have you always been playing the same version?

Always been playing the same version. I have just moved\\copied the saved games to a different disk, drive, now the linkage with the DLC seems to have been corrupted or something, such that I cannot load any saved game that played the DLC at all. Lot of time, effort and committment locked up in those saved games.......

Another FU of microsoft. Your HDD is attached/alligned to your specific console, moving the HDD to another severs every DLC and corrupts your files.

it probably has to do with licenses for the dlc as they are attached to a specific HDD
try using the procedure on this page and hopefully me2 will detect that you have the content on your HDD

Success! it was as you said the licenses. I followed the link you gave, migratedthe licences to the new drive, re-downloaded all associated DLCs.I no longer got the error message, however ME2 still did not pick up my ME1 character. I was however able to replay the last confrontation with Saren in ME1 after which ME2 picked up the character. Thanks for the help.
