so i started my second playthrough im playing as a mage and ive not long started and am in lothering and my very first talk to sten and hes gven me the "why are we stopping" sentence so this means hes alresady in my party even though i hadnt even talked to him or the woman in the chantry to release him, so he talks to me but hes locked in his cage

what can i do about that? without having to start all over gain hopefully
