Hello,

I have the following situation:
I have a character that I played on the german Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect.
I also have the DLCs "Bring down the sky" (Kollisionskurs) and "Pinnacle Station" in german.

I now bought the UK version from the classics label (that comes with the bonus disc).
When I start this version and try to load a current savegame from my character above I
get an error message:
"Selected Save Game could not be loaded. Downloadable Content missing from Xbox.
Module(s) in question: Kollisionskurs [DE], Pinnacle-Station[DE]."

I can however load an old savegame for the character from when I didn't have the DLC,
but I want the most recent savegame.

Since my console had been replaced I tried deleting and redownloading the german DLC,
I am still getting the above error message when trying to load my savegame.

Is there a workaround or is it just not possible to "activate" the DLC for that
version?

If not, I would be glad to have a technical explanation on that matter, since the
"missing" DLC is clearly there.

Are you connected to Live when starting the game?
You said your console has been replaced if that is so then you need to be online whenever you play the game.
If you are not online the DLC can't load.

If you are online when starting the game then it could just be down to the german DLC not working with the UK version of game.

I am online and connected to live, so everything is okay on that end.



The DLC also doesn't show up in the ME main menu of ME.

I installed the english BTTS from the bonus disc and then BTTS shows up there, but trying to load a savegame still results in the error that both DLCs are missing, so it specifically needs the german version, so your theroy might be correct.

I have exactly the same issue with the DLC BDtS, I did not have Pinnacle station loaded, that was the only reason that I think I do not have the same issue with both DLCs. In my case the gamer profile that has been playing ME1 is not the same profile that did the download, there are multiple profiles on the Xbox and none of the save games that played the DLC can now be loaded. I can still start a new career or load a save game that did not use the DLC. My issue seems to have arisen as I moved\\copied the save games to another Hardrive, which has more capacity. Now none of the saved games register the DLC even though it has been downloaded again. Also moving them back to the original hard drive to use the original DLC download also does not work. Very Frustrating. I do not believe that it is linked to any language considerations, it seems that the act of moving or saving the saved game to another memory unit somehow breaks the linkage with the DLC. I do not have this issue with any other games.... just ME1.

I have always been using the same gamertag but I also upgraded to a bigger hard drive at one point, I think after buying BDTS but before buying Pinnacle Station.
All savegames that played the DLC still can be loaded in the german version.
Sorry to hear that you can't load anything.
