Obsidian is Bioware lite.
I'm eager to see the reaction from Obsidian developing Fallout: New Vegas, after all Obsidian has veterans from the Black Isle staff from FO1 and FO2. I'm sure it will be similar in respect to FO3 but I wager fans of FO1 and 2 will applaud New Vegas and Obsidian for taking it back to its roots.

1. "We won't change much, only make a few twists here and there to make the game easier accessible for a broader audience."
2. The ME 1 companions are dead / gone.
3. No PC version.
4. "We at BioWare listen when our fans speak, so we've added multiplayer to ME3!"
5. Ever crew member is romanceable by both male and female Shepards and a romance is required to complete the game.
6. If you want to start a new character, without importing one from ME2, you will not have completed any side quests, have max renegade and generally have made the worst decisions imagineable.
7. Skils have been removed in favour of a more streamlined system. None.
8. Crates and cover have been removed. Instead you're given a mobile crate at the beginning of the game, that you can take with you and place where ever you choose.
9. "In order to pay for more famous voice actors and more characters based on real celebrities, we've had to reduce the amount of missions. There is now 1 mission lasting 30 minutes. PS: Mass Effect 3 will cost 3 times as much as ME2 to pay Barack Obama to voice a random Volus."

If I can't have Liara and Kaidan (or Ash) in my squad
If Thane can't be cured.
If it resembles Halo even more.
Making it friendly to new people once again at the expense of existing fans (look at the Ash/Kaidan/Liara cameos, what. the. hell.

Or to focus on the new audience they have completely cut any and all traces of anything related to ME1 lore or characters.

I don't want ME3 to be a buggy unfinished game with a crappy story where half the dialogue is text (and is delayed a million times)

But Bioshock 2 is still a fun game, and it's what you expect of the Bioshock franchise. I honestly don't get why everyone complains about the shooter gameplay in ME2; there's nothing wrong with shooter gameplay, shooters are fun. I can I understand that some people are irritated at the loss of some of the more traditional RPG elements, but it's not like those are mutually exclusive with good shooting mechanics, it's just the direction that Bioware has decided to take Mass Effect. I know it's unlikely, but personally I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll get the best of both worlds in ME3. In depth RPG mechanics (more varied skill trees, a revamped loot system, better party customization), AND solid TPS gameplay.
