What worked for me was to:

Enable the dev console

~

runscript zz_shl_debug

Enable all the plot flags

Didn't lose anything and he talks to me again without warping me outside the map.

can anyone help i redeemed a code for thecharacter that comes with the game theni registered my game. theproblem is it doesntshow up when i go to download it like i never rdeemed it. bu it shows up on my profile.

I am getting this too, the Tilda doesnt seem to want to work on my keyboard though, so I cant enter the Dev Console
