After using the extremely helpful (though still a bit under-documented) background building tutorial over at the wiki, I have successfully gotten a series of new backgrounds to function in my custom module. Since its taking place in a homebrew setting, I've overwritten all of the other default backgrounds.

My question is two-fold. ONE: How does one get different backgrounds to start in different areas? I tried editing the 2das, but it doesn't seem to make any difference where the background start area string is set to.

SECONDLY: the main menu music continues to play well after the module has loaded and a new area is up. Is there a way to stop this?

THIRD CORELLARY: once loading of an area is complete, the character appears with splayed arms and legs as though a scarecrow. Is there a way to make certain this is NOT the starting pose?

I have solved prong ONE by utilizing a script in a default starting area that routes people to different places based on set plot flags. However, I must now figure out how to accomplish TWO and the COROLLARY if anyone has any ideas.
