Hey now ive heard a lot about the "mass effect has stopped working" problem and its happening to me too. Only that my case is different. At first, I bought the game from steam, downloaded it, and played it for a few hours without any problems. Then, I turned my computer off and the next day the error appears. I tried reinstalling, but to no avail. It isnt my specs because I know i was able to run it fine. Whats weird was that I thought it might be my norton anitvirus, which expired, so i deleted and it worked again! But then, I turned my computer off again, went to bed, and next day the error appears again. What seems to be the problem here? Can anyone help me please? Also, ive tried running it in both administrator and XP compatibility mode. So far nothing worked and I really dont know what the problem is at all. Specs:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 (2.4 GHz)
RAM: 3070 MB
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9650M GT with 3GB VRAM
DirectX: 10
Sound: Realtek High Definition Audio
HD: 250GB
