Best character though the loyalty mission was a little weak. You couldn't really agree with his decision until the end... though I guess if you agree with him, there wouldn't be any dialogue for the mission at all.

The person or people who wrote Mordin deserve chocolate chip cookies--warm and gooey from being fresh out of the oven.

I believe it was Patrick Weekes who wrote him.

Whoever it was they did an awesome job, IMO he's even better then Wrex.

His sex advice ... pure gold.

I nearly fell out of my chair, caught me by surprise 100%.

Then he claimed he would never breach doctor-patient confidentiality, second after breaching it. :)

DAMN STRAIGHT!

At first when you meet him in his clinic, and he rushes you around, I thought "what a jerk". I was reluctant to do his loyalty mission too, but when we got to the abandonned hospital and had a big convo about ethics he was my fave =]

then we got back and he gave me a talk about getting alien aids. Pretty sure he was joking =] I hated salarians up until Mordin :alien:

BUT HE ALWAYS DIES IN THE SUICIDE MISSION! =[

What makes Mordin great is the voice actor they got to play him. Thankfully Bioware had a good script and picked a good VA for him. Especially when he busted out some Penzance.

It's ironic but he's clearly the most developed character out of all the new ones introduced in ME2, but I think they wanted it like that. Remember how Miranda tells you to get him first? So I think they particularly focused on him more than others... I still dont understand why they kept bragging about Jack all the time though.

Don't forget that Heavy Incinerate comes in very handy throughout the game also.

He is one of the better sqaud mates on missions IMO.

Mordin is easily to like. He's intelligent, whitty, calculating, and never seems to joke around...he's all business, but in a fun way.

Would any of you want him as a love interest in ME3?

If there was a female Salarian that was like him in ME3 I'd totally pursue that.

Though the pleasure would be a little.........one sided.

Agree, OP! I honestly thought that Mordin would be the character I didn't bring to anything, since in Mass Effect 1 I didn't really like any of the Salarians. =X

Mordin became my favorite almost immediately. He's just amazingly written and hilarious. One of the best characters ever =)

How did you make a character so gosh darn good?

I really can't think of a moment where I didn't like Mordin.

The conversations you can have with him during his loyalty mission, and after the collector ship really shows how great Mordin is.

I'd like to thank the writers for making such a great character. And the voice actor fit perfectly, whoever he is is pretty great.

Imo, he's the best character in the whole game.

Agreed.  Mordin was a great addition to the series.

The moment I started enjoying Mordin was when he mentioned the pre-battle speech of Captain Kirrahe on Virmire in ME1. I fell out of my seat laughing as I had just played Virmire a day before beginning ME2 from a new start.
