Neither Jacob nor Miranda can use the Assualt Rifles but in cut scenes at the Collector Base I saw both of them using Assualt Rifles.

While playing Legion's loyalty mission when first told about rewriting the heretics it is considered paragon to say rewriting is bad but when it comes time to actually make the choice rewriting is considered paragon.

please give Bioware a break.

let them focus on IMPORTANT things, not minor annoyances which are results of the alternative being loads of work for something small and insignificant.

Go on imdb.com, choose a random movie and then count the listed inconsistencies.

Shepard also has an AR in cutscenes even if he isn't trained in one

It happens with Shepard in this game and in ME1 as well. You'll have a pistol equipped and during the cutscene it will show an assault rifle.
If you want a real inconsistency how about the fact that Legion says you talked to Sovreign on Ilos. Posted Image

And there's a lot of times where Shepard pulls out the Shuriken machine pistol and can't use it because he's a soldier. Generally the weapons are tied to the animations being performed during the cutscenes. If this is the only thing preventing you from enjoying the game you should probably look at the larger picture and the awesome feat that Bioware achieved with this game.

How about the one where Ashley (or Kaiden, if you're playing femShep) get stung by the swarm on Horizon, but magically appear at the end of the mission (at the same time as the 2nd appearance of whiny/coward guy)? WTFO???? That one has really got me puzzled.

Yeah, it's funny how none of the characters even asks how the heck this happened ^^

Legion wasn't with you. He wouldn't have first hand knowledge, and all he has to rely on is news reports which would have sketchy information considering Council is playing coverup on the whole Reaper situation.

Why would they ask? They
know she was frozen but she obviously wasn't taken aboard the ship and
thus would have no reason to question why she was there and it is
plainly obvious that she thawed out. It is NOT an inconsistancy.

I find a bit annoying too, with the weapons, that is. I shouldn't be that hard to make them pull out a weapon that they actually have equipped. But maybe it is, I don't know. But I doubt it's very high on the priority list of things to fix.

This kind of inconsistency was something that was mentioned a LOT on the old forums concerning ME1. Pretty much we were told that this kind of thing would be absent in ME2. I can even remember seeing a preview vid for ME2 and seeing a very short scene where this popped up and having BW ask for where so that they could go in and fix it. While in terms of gameplay its not an issue it breaks the rule of immersion and the promise that it would be fixed in ME2. So low priority gameplaywise but in this case outweighed by the importance of the immersion factor.

I hope they fix these cutscenes so Shep and people who are not trained in a specific weapon don't use it. It's not that major but really annoying.

You learn more about the geth, and determin its not actully ethicly bad to rewrite them as the mission progresses, yes what shepard thinks is write and wrong can change. Not an inconsistancy.

I found it a minor annoyance. Mind you, there are obvious cutscenes where he/she has an animation for a two-handed weapon like the assault rifle (as opposed to a regular, in-game animation), so there isn't a whole lot that can be done, but there are definitely odd instances where even if you have customized your armor and all that, it doesn't show your more up to date weapons (defaulting to baseline pistols, assault rifles, sniper rifles, etc). I'm just glad you at least CAN train in additional weapons since the hard limits on class weapons are a serious restriction that didn't exist in ME1.

Why? The paralysis was obviously temporary. If you read the mission data, you see that only about the third of the colonists were abducted; Ashley/Kaidan was lucky.

It's ethically quite questionable, but no less questionable than blowing them to smithereens. You have to do something or soon all the geth will unite against the organics, so you pick the lesser of two evils as a Paragon.

2 more geth favour rewrite, so doing what the geth want is paragon, but seriously. they still are machines, ever being sentiant, its not like brainwashing people as they were brainwashed to think like that. its more like unbrainwashing people
