Apart form the download that was put on on Jan 23rd, that now doesnt exist, does anyone know another way of gaining the sniper rifle on the xbox?

Buy the DDE online and have it activated for both PC and 360.

That or have friends that work at EA/Bioware.

It was only up for a couple hours, in the wee hours of the night/morning. It was also unintentional obviously.

Try calling EA customer support and asking them to enable the rifle for you. It might work or might not. Just be honest and polite and do not try to scam them by telling that your code did not work/got lost etc. If you really want the rifle, it is worth a shot.

I know that some people were able to get some of their items this way including Incisor rifle.
