I think it's supposed to make people reconsider their prejudices aobut the character.

We already know he doesn't like killing. Page three. He bests his opponent, but only knocks him out. Again, this just seems to be pointless filler.

Actually, it just makes him look like a puffed up arrogant twit, who I will enjoy making into seat covers.

I totally agree.  Anybody else thinks he should be burned at the stake?  Or chopped into a million pieces?  Or... um... deepfried to be fed to that cool looking new ogre?

He isn't really any more opinionated, judgemental or arrogant than a number of players in this very thread. If that's supposed to be reason good enough to kill people... well.

I notice that for all his hatred of the Wardens this spy seems to go to considerable lengths to avoid killing them. Does he have an aversion to lethal force? Would be interesting...

My guess:

He goes further into the keep until he reaches the warden's room. He sneaks in using his rogue/shadow/assasin etc skills and tries to assasinate the warden, of whom he thinks doesn't know he's there. But the moment he strikes the warden counters his strike and overpowers him. Guards storm into the room having heard the small fight, they take him down to the dungeon and lock him up for the warden to decide wether to kill, recruit, imprison, let go etc...

Actually I meant Nathan Howe. 

He has the personality of a clan fanboy bootlicker.  Oh how I'll enjoy pissing him off in-game.

It seems more like a hatred of Orlesians than the Wardens in particular. I'm pretty sure several Orlesian Wardens would come over to Fereldan to help you rebuild the Fereldan Grey Wardens.


But regardless, I can't wait to see more information about him. I'm already plotting fanfiction twists including him in the storyline.

Er, I think you are unaware of what racism really means.

It's nearing midnight on the 15th of March here in Australia and I know that Bioware and the Penny Arcade guys are in NA where it is probably early morning at present and they probably haven't even woken up yet to put this up on the site.

It's one of my pet-peeves when people get upset that things don't happen on time in THEIR time zone when the producers of something (such as this artwork) don't even live in YOUR time zone. Have some patience and when you wake up tomorrow, it will be uploaded.

Seems strange that the Wardens would still leave a portrait of Rendon Howe on the wall after they took over the Keep. Surely putting it in the dungeon (if not a fireplace) would have been more appropriate! LOL

I want to say quickly how great it was to work with Gabe and Tycho over at Penny Arcade once again. They are both hardcore gamers and big BioWare fans, but it is their talent and skill that impresses me most. We gave them some rough ideas to turn into a strip and they have come up with something that fits so elegantly into the story that we couldn't have done better ourselves. Hats off to them once again.
