So he IS Rendon's kid. Image IPB He's after the Commander no doubt; he better be as ignorant of his dear old dad's actions/reasoning as he seems.

Huh, another son. Given that everyone in Fereldan seemed to dislike Howe and think he was a snake, one wonders if Nathaniel lived in another country or just isn't that bright.

It might be the latter, but I believe he's just misguided. He sounds a lot like an arrogant, self-righteous ******, too. There was some hero worship going on with him with regards to his father, so I understand why he would think of the Warden as the bad guy instead of the dastardly (but very well-voiced) Rendon.

There should be a Law that if you use the word "Comic' it should contain Comedy

I think you are confusing the term "cartoon" with "comic". ;)

I am really pleased to once again be able to show off a comic from our friends Gabe & Tycho at Penny Arcade again working with Dragon Age. There will be a new page each week from now until launch, so make sure you check back weekly for the new pages.

Dont get me wrong, i liked the cartoons, but i thaught if they were funny "in jokes" it would of been even greater.

Comic means Small Comedy. Com for comedy, mic meaning micro/small

While originally comics (a shortening of comic strips) were so named because of their comic (as in comedic) themes, the form has evolved over the last century or so to encompass serious themes as well.  But surely you knew that?  The (Dragon Age: Origins Awakening) Penny Arcade Comic is most definitely a comic and just because you didn't laugh is no reason to condemn its existence or its labeling or the lack of certain machine-fruit interfacing that you may have expected given an awareness of some of the other work of its creators.

Even though cartoon is sometimes used to refer to a comic strip, the media still allows for themes beyond the comedic, and the term in the U.S. with regard to print (or Web) media is more likely to be used to refer to single-panel pieces, such as editorial cartoons.

I DID NOT CONDEM IT, READ MY POST, I SAID I LIKED IT, BUT IT WAS NOT FUNNY LOL.
Oh and thanks for the broad websters dictonary post, but it still not going to change the fact it was not what i expected.
I still dont belive it should be classified as a comic, in fact i am inclined to try and find a new word that defines serious comics. People in australia usually refer to serious "comics" as cartoons anyway, and the same for those animated shows like bugs bunny or dragon balls z shows on tv.

the new word that i have thaught up is PIMIC- a short Picture or illistration, its similar to comic and similar to mimic for it mimics the actions of real life. I will have some fun trying to influence my new word :)

Well, you said:

which didn't really convey "I liked it" to me.

Since in book form the serious comics get to have the label "graphic novel" applied, perhaps this could've been a "graphic serial" or "graphic short story"?  But I'm sure even then someone would gripe "there should be a law that if you use the word 'Graphic'…".  :D

I'll be content with "comic" and its multitude of context-sensitive definitions.  Someone should write a comic about a comic that is not comic at all.  The comic, not the comic, that is.  <_<
