He's Duncan's illegitimate son, who hasn't grown into The Beard, yet. :bandit:

LOL

It starts as a soul patch then "blossoms" out as he gets older (hedging is occasionally necessary), thats how you can tell he is a youngin'. Kind of like tree rings.

Nope, sorry. It doesn't work that way. I saw the births first-hand. Duncan's babies are spawned with an unshaveable beard of manliness the day they come out. Even the girls. Image IPB

I bet he is Duncan's reincarnation. But he lost his beard on the proccess now searching for his beard.

And I couldnt pas the similarities between Chuck Norris and Duncan.

I think Duncan is Dragon Age's Chuck Norris. With the beard and all.

I approve of more comics that combine the world's two greatest things--Penny Arcade and Dragon Age.

What are you talking about? Those girls are rich! They make untold sums of money working as circus freaks. Not to mention the fact they can kick your ass in eleven different languages. Image IPB

You read that right. They can beat you down with words!

The BioWare thinks it's tricksy...but I know their secrets. I know about the bananas and the vaseline! I have seen the truth, and you cannot take it away.

Hey there. I didn't know about the first Penny Arcade comic featuring Morrigan. Where can I find it? I'd really like to read it. =)

It should be on the Dragon Age website.

I am stoked. Juse a question though, what happened to the original comic? I can't find it anywhere.

It was there, but now it says, quote, 'The page you were looking for does not exist'. Probably messed up when placed the new one.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty obvious too...

I'm more interested in the words than who the character may or may not be. What HAS happened to the Grey Wardens? What do they do when there's not a blight to prevent? Has something gone horribly wrong between Origins and Awakening that has put the Wardens in a precarious position? Hmm, things to ponder.

Also, there are only 4 weeks until Awakening's release but room for 5 comics. Perhaps we'll be getting two at once towards the end.

You know, I was about to yell at David Gaider for stealing Chris' whole "evil smiley face at the end of posts" thing and call him names (jokingly, of course) but then I just realized that Chris simply changed his avatar to the same as Gaiders. Dangit, man, don't screw with us like that!

That said, I'm quite excited about the new Penny Arcade comic. I'd have to agree with others that this guy is probably the Orlesian Grey Warden.

But if he was the Orlesian Grey Warden why on earth would be attacking other Wardens!

Besides he said that his grandfather was a Warden not himself, in fact I got the impression that he wasn't even a Warden from what I read.

The bartender in Lothering says early on in the game that his grandfather was a Grey Warden and he has great respect for the order. Not that I suspect it is the same guy, just an interesting note.

<speculation>
The way I'm figuring things is that the canon for the Orlesian Grey Warden is that the OC character did the Ultimate sacrifice, so it's possible that the Grey Wardens of Ferelden have been leaderless for whatever the time period is between the end of the OC and the start of his storyline.

Not to mention the fact that regardless of the ending, the Grey Wardens of Ferelden went from hundreds down to 2 at Ostagar.  Compounded with the fact that if you are dead then no one other than Alister could possibly be trying to rebuild the Ferelden GW chapter, and well I don't see him being all that effective TBH. :P
