Aha... seems like my suspects are correct...
Same hair, same expression, same sword, same armor. More then this?
Indeed. And his skills are obviously part of the shadow specialization... or at least I guess...Wowlock wrote...
I knew he was that rogue !
I guess a human noble would do that job REALLY well, for obvious reasons...Another Orlesian-hater. After Loghain I thought they were extinct. How come he is supporting a snake like Rendon Howe ?
Guess its up to us to make him believe who the Howe really was.
Target? Apart from the PC, I can really see no one. After all, the original PC killed Howe... Hmm... how interesting. I'll guess we'll have to wait till friday to say though... or not?And there is a good chance he can be first companion since he is trying to sneak in Vigil's keep and I think you will save him from death sentence or sort.
Just a theory... wonder who is his target ?

I hope the Grey Wardens in Awakening don't become the overused "protectors of humanity at all cost" cliche. I hope they're still that real, sometimes scheming faction that's not above joining rebellions, conducting forbidden experiments to gain more power, and arrogantly believing that they're always right, like in Warden's Keep. I played it at a friend's place and was surprised at how good it was. Lots of interesting lore there.

What do we know about Rendon Howe's Father in law, is it possible that he was a grey warden?
From DAO we know that Rendon Howe had a son of about the same age as the PC (learned during human noble origin) so my guess is that this character could be Rendon's son.

But we rescue Thomas (Howe's son) in Origins and he doesn't have any reason to hate the Grey Wardens. I also don't believe he had dark hair, but I will have to replay the Arl of Denermi part of the story to find out for sure.

Hmmmm, could be Howe's son Thomas....though in that case, he would probably be calling him "Father". So maybe one of his soldiers? But yeah, my HNF is going to have some words with this guy, to say the least.

Okay, I'm excited to meet this "throw-away companion" now.
