Hey guys!
i was wondering if anyone knows how i can make a skill that can target both creatures and placeables. as for now i have one that is derived from the heal spell but i can't target placeables with it. is there something that i can script or some 2da i can change to make this work?

Look at targettypes.xls for the numbers that you add together to determine what can be targeted with an ability. The sum of the numbers you want goes in the targettype column of the ABI_* 2da you have your ability in (it's a bitfield).

thanks. i asked this in the custom content forum as well but there seem to be low activity there or at least low quality activity so i'll give it a shot in this already established thread: if i want to remove all the talents that are available at character generation and replace them with my own and modified versions of the already existing ones, how do i accomplish that? the wiki shows how to add talents to the ones already available but not how to remove the default ones.

Instead of extending the ABI_Base.xls with your own talents, you should extend it with both your own and the ones you want to hide/modify (with the same IDs). For the ones you want to hide, you can try setting the show_in_chargen to 0 and see if it works (I haven't tested this)
