Assertion One: It is possible to acquire us at the beginning of the endeavour. We hypothesise that this course of action will not damage the IFF Acquisition Mission or cause any other malfunctions. We recommend however that you consider the anachronistic result of the decision to install us on the Normandy in relation to the chain of events of this mission.

Assertion Two: We will advise Shepherd-Commander verbally throughout his trials and Shepherd-Commander may take us as a companion from the time of the acquisition of the New Normandy and not prior to this event.
Examples: (rescue Jack) - "We recommend subduing subject Zero and transporting her aboard as cargo"
(rescue Jack) - "Situation chaotic - recommend decisive action"
(rescue Mordin) - "This platform is immune to organic disease"
(rescue Grunt) - "Recorded messages are a dubious form of training"

Assertion Three: The Over-Creators had plans to implement us earlier. These plans were annulled. No data available. We have data for all Shepherd-Commander's quests to acquire a team to fight the Collectors.
We will also advise Shepherd-Commander to delete the Heretics much earlier in his quest to save the galaxy.

Because I want to have Legion help rescue Tali and go to the Flotilla, I have to put off all the Tali stuff until last.



And this will probably get all the Normandy crew deader then dead in the long run, because from shortly before Legion is recruited, a timer starts ticking down to the Collector attack.



I don't know if it's possible to get in Tali's Rescue and both loyalty missions before passing the point where the crew are dead and pureed to make instant Reaper.



It would have made this so much easier if Legion's recruitment was not directly tied to the acquisition of the IFF device.

Yea, I modified the INI file to allow Legion early, I'm quite pleased, However I'm annoyed that I'm finding this hidden dialogue. It means BioWare had plans to implement Legion earlier but didn't.

Or they just created and recorded the dialogue before they had decided. You made the wrong choice BioWare.

well...
not really. as far as the plot goes it was very interesting getting Legion when we did. great moment to be honest. ideally theyd make the IFF mission earlier and add an extra major-mission or two before the suicide mission but thats asking a lot.
glad the over-creators ;p realised that people would mod it to get legion early.

i feel like i hardly know legion. i have about 100 hours of gameplay and only have legion in about 2 hours of that. i hardly knew yee.



tho im about to go get the reaper IFF. just after i hit Submit.

Gonna try this. I usually don't get to use Legion until after the suicide mission. Looking forward to finally being able to actually use him. Thanks a lot

Hmm i took the risk and as i said, no problems except anachronistic comments.
its only changing one small line of code, ie when legion is selectable. should be ok.

So why did they record audio for these missions to begin with? You are not supposed to get Legion there normally...

Maybe you could recruit people in whatever order, before they made the set dossier list. And then they never bothered to remove the audio. *shrug*

Having tried this I personally feel it gets old pretty fast, if you thought there was little reaction when getting Legion Canon-wise there´s none now, he just simply is there and can not be interacted with until after you´ve done his loyalty mission. I also realised one of the main reasons I liked his character was because I had seen so little of him/limited amount of missions. So far I´ve brought him with me for Archangel, Mordin & Citadel and the novelty is already wearing off. Only good thing is it speeds up my romance-cycle for MaleShep.



Honestly console owners, it´s a nice gimmick bur just like the additional casual clothes you´ll soon revert back to vanilla.

Query: Does this interfere with the abduction of the Normandy crew? In particular, does it happen earlier than intended by the over-creators? That is this platform's primary concern.
