I'm thinking my first playthrough will be at around 80 hours.

I would love to do 80-100 hours, but I've been operating under the assumption that this is going to be one of those shiny, polished gems like the KoTOR series and Mass Effect... If that's the case, then ~23 hours. I would really, really love for each playthrough to take 100 though, please don't get me wrong.

Not really sure, I am retired so have plenty of time but do like to go in depth so I am going to go with around 90 hours for starters but i will check back in and post my actual time. Should we have a specific forum set up for posting finished times?

I spent over 60 hours playing Risen so I expect to get 100+ easily out of Dragon Age (not counting the toolset, DLC, or player made mods). Heck, I must have put 150+ hours into Oblivion.

i say about 80+ cuz i dont plan on reading about the controls or anything like that. i like to learn as i play because it gives me a greater enjoyment of the game

Most likely more than 80 hours I guess. I remember people saying they finished Mass Effect in about 15 hours or less in their first playthrough, for me it took 35, and as there seems to be a lot to do in DA:O it should take quite some time for me to finish it.

I am a completionist and also easily distracted by silly things (for example I think I wasted a few hours total in BG clicking Boo), I don't think it'd be hard for me to get 80-100 hours out of it.

In my first playthrough, I blow through the main quest really quickly. The second playthrough usually lasts a lot longer.

I took 2 days off of work so I could get pretty far into the game. The it will probably take a few weeks to finish whats left, thanks to work, school and business trips. I'm sure I'll play through it a few times. And I still need to find some time to get some Left 4 Dead 2 in there somewhere.

I hope 60+ hours, I like to do lots of side quests and game exploring, but I dunno if I will reach it cause i have no idea how accurate these 40+, 60+, 80+, 100+ talk is.
Maybe the developers are adding the replay value into these game times for all I know.

It really depends, but probably early 2010. I'll go slow, but finish in time for ME2.

For me I think 70 to 100 hours, not all at once tho lol. I want to enjoy the game and not rush it.

By my calculations, due to the fact that I am laid off of work it will take me approximately 10 days to finish the game. That assumes 10 hours a day for 10 days strait - with their estimates at 100 hours of game play.



More realistic is Ill finish up at the end of November.

it prolly takes 40 hours a single run with doing most of the side quests. these 60+ hours are just marketing tactics to spice it up, while they just include multiple origins and stuff in those 60+ hours.

I'm going to make the most of it, so probably a lot for me too.. but in terms of days, I think quite a long time, since Modern Warfare 2 comes out 5 days after DAO.

 I seriously doubt that they've included the length of time it takes to do all 6 origin stories into an estimate of the duration of one playthrough. And what is this 'stuff' that you refer to?

Anyway, I'd be satisfied with a 40 hour game, but I imagine that my first few playthroughs at least, will be substantially longer.
