 This isn't even a contest, Jack hands down.  She spends most of her time ****ing about Cerberus; heck, the first time she sees the Normandy she throws a temper tantrum.  Every time I go to pick her up from the prison ship and she threatens me (after throwing said childish tantrum) I just laugh in her face.  She's not nearly as tough, as badass, or as scary as she pretends to be.

Runners up:  Pre-Horizon I wouldn't have even put Ashley on this list, but afterwards...yeah, tied for second with Miranda.  But with Miranda, as BobbyTheI said, the fault is with Bioware for doing such a poor job telling us why her father was so "bad".
 
Also, I'd like to nominate Aria from Omega.  First with the whole 'I am Omega' schtick, and then with the one rule of Omega, "Don't f@#% with Aria".  I really wanted to tell her that her rule was all well and good, but the one rule of the whole galaxy was, "Don't F@#$ With Shepard".

For Miranda, we should keep in mind that

i) Her "father" destroyed all "failed" experiments, likely including babies and children not exhibiting the desired traits

ii) She got everything she wanted but only *if* she did exactly as her "father" wanted her to do.



Basically this translates to "You want food? Be my slave. You want water? be my slave.". Given what Miranda tells us about her father, a close example would be adolf hitler, where only perfection (as defined by a singular opinion) is allowed to survive.



Her condition is in a form similar to Jacks just that the **** is covered in a coating of cake.

Jack had a good reason and came off as more angry than drama-queen.... not to mention you can call her on it like another said in which she is amused. Liara a lil bit. Ash & Kaiden definitely haha.. that scene on Horizon was all drama-queen. I'd say first place goes to Miranda... she may seem calm on the outside, but she never stops bringing up "oooh I was genetically enhanced" blah blah blah.. seriously it's several convos with her.

Jack = messed up until you paragon romance her..... Miranda = will probably for the rest of your lives bring up how she's genetically engineered to be perfect.

Jack will speak her mind, Miranda is the type to talk behind your back. I prefer someone to speak their mind than be a sneaky backstabber who cries out for attention by bringing up how perfect they are but they didn't "earn" it LOL. 1) not perfect imo 2) shuttup already and get over yourself, stop fishing for compliments

So I agree with the others in this thread who say Miranda wins this contest... you just need to take a clearer look at the big picture with each of the characters to see this.  However, I don't dislike any character in either game.  They all played their roles well and I think Bioware did a great job, as you see so much diversity to who liked which characters best on these forums.... is proof right there that Bioware did their job right with creating characters & their personalities, looks, back-stories, etc..........

Ashley, although I haven't imported an ME1 game with her alive (gets Virmired most of the time), so I can't comment on her appearence on Horizon as I haven't experienced it.

Oh I really wish that was the actual reply. Would have easily been the best line in the game for me.

Someone who causes alot of drama.



Samara because she dresses like a hottie and then leaves you hanging in the wind when you ask her out. Come on don't dress like that if you just wanna reject every guy you meet. I call bull**** on her because if she was "past that stage" in her life she wouldn't dress so sexy. Also, she hunts her daughter for 400 years. She sends her other 2 daughters to prison. Everyone is always concerned about security or international problems when Justicars are around. And she said she would kill the police if they tried to arrest and detain her. She is very cold and calculating. She used Shepard as bait. That's someone who causes alot of drama everywhere she goes.

people say miranda. but is she? cerberus uses her for being "perfect" but ultimately doen't really care about her. her father grew her from his own cells. she doesn't even have a biological mother. her father also offed experimental sisters of hers for not living up to expectations. she has reasons to be like she is.

also, she's able to care about other people (even if they are genetically identical to her :-p )



jack? kidnapped as a child, beaten, abused, psycologically tortured, medically tortured, forced to kill other children....

a drama queen is someone who blows little things out of proportion, then screams incessently about them. i don't think jack has little things to blow out of proportion. and she doesn't whine, she kills things.



Tali? people who say tali don't state why, they just say it because they don't like her. and they don't like her not because of her character, but because of her obnoxious, rabid fanbase (of which i am a member, admittedly. though i try to not be rabid, and to limit my obnoxiousness)

only one person who mentioned tali gives a reason- her attitude towards the geth. huh. they only wiped out a civilization of billions and left the remaining few to float along in space, loathed like second-class drifter trash.

lets be honest, she tries to help everyone, she doesn't whine, and if you play nice, she'll even work along side legion. ok, so she cries sometimes. mostly when finding her fathers corpse. i'd like to think we all understand that.



so, all we really have left is Samara, Liara, and ashley.

drama queens a, b, and c.

Samara doesn't just have one demon daughter. she has three. you'd think she'd have learned? or spent enough time with the first to make sure she didn't become a sadistic killer? she does not even question a system that jails for life her other 2 innocent girls. she's cold, heartless, selfish, and wraps it all in a holier-than-thou image. maybe not the most drama queen-ish, but i don't like her.



ashley- i like her character to a degree, but between her racism, crying about how grandpa saved lives and she suffers for it, her suicidal willingness to jump the gun, and her actions on the colony in ME2 make her a serious offender



liara- so caught up in her emotional turmoil of what the shadow broker tried to do to your corpse that she doesn't even seem to care that you're ALIVE. will do anything to take him down, even if it means going all psyco, and whines when you point that out. ding! winner

Well Miranda is *kinda*, but she seems more cold and b*tchy than drama-queen.



Tali doesn't seem drama-queenish because it doesn't appear that she ever says a word to, well, anyone other than Shepard. Just kinda sits in the back and doesn't talk.

She sounds like that if you actually talk to her. otherwise she never says a word about it. some of the others spill their drama all over the place, regardless of if you actually talk to 'em or not.
