Here's what I came up with:

Engineer using Viper on Jacob's loyalty mission (insanity)

Basically I played through Jacob's loyalty using the Viper and my tech abilities, with Thane as the other teammate. It's a montage, not a full playthrough. Check it out and let me know what you think It's my first youtube video ever!

You have the classes mixed up. Sentinel is the one with tech armor, which is far from useless to begin with. However, if you are indeed speaking of Engineer, I will have to disagree with you. I am on my fourth playthrough and Engineer is by far the most fun and most dominate class I have played with. Their powers add a lot of utility in comination with your squadmates.

However, a lot of people underestimate the class (Adepts can be put here too) mainly because their playstyle differs from other classes. Soldier, Infiltrator, Sentinel and perhaps Vanguard's playstyle has you focusing more on your combat while Adept and Engineers rely on the combinations of you and your squads.

Give Engineers a chance!

I don't know about all the stats, but I do know which drone type I used: attack. I love the attack drone. It has a ton of health and is therefore great at harrassing enemies.

I have created The baddest SENTINEL in the VALLEY.  IT''s like this.  Go with the MASSES.  DO everything big.  Throw field, unstable warp, assault armor heavy overload, full cryo blast, guardian, inferno blast grenade, MAXED OUT.

My logic is this:  I throw on my assault armor, then I fire my weapon, then I grenade to suppress.  If I got to dig them out of cover I use Warp to break their defenses.  While re charging I then use my squad's powers.  I let a biotic pull the targets.  I can cryo blast while spraying death with my SMG or Assault rifle.

UNSTOPPABLE.  This Sentinel has the short game of a Vanguard, the long game of the Soldier, and can adept while infiltrating.  

If we had an online PLATFORM.  My Sentinel would decimate yours.................FOrget that Charge of the Vanguard.  If he charges into me and destroys my armor he gets pricked like a porcupine does a fox.  My assault armor is a knockout.  Then I Cryo Blast or Warp him/her and it's over as I spray him/her down with my SMG or Assault rifle.  

Don't bring no infiltrator either.  I will throw your clear body through against a wall.  No, Adept is going to be able to handle my shooting ability.  It's OVER I HAVE THE class.

Too bad it's in the wrong thread.

Anyways, I just thought I would say that I just beat the game as an Infiltrator and am starting a game as a Soldier. But I still really miss the Drone! Engineer is my favorite class because of that drone, plus all the other tech abilities, especially on Hardcore and Insanity. The cyro blast is great against the Krogans when you get their shields down, as well as on the Husks (instant kill+ fast recharge rate).
