possible small spoiler if you havent played.

but im in the fade during broken circle and i have the golem form and yet the massive doors are bugged and will not break at all, ive played through before and didnt have this problem. anyone had this problem or know what causes it or if theres a way to fix it?

The fade is known to be glitchy in all versions of the game. When I had the problem, exiting the area then approaching the door again (sometimes multiple times) eventually worked. You can try triggering the abilitiy at the door as well.

One way is to walk right up to the door and take a step back then try to smash it down. Its a real pain but you can smash them down its just a matter of finding the right spot to trigger the special attack.

Keep in mind that to open the doors you use your boulder throw ability. If you used it in recent combat, it might not have recharged yet. I've done the Fade a (painful) four or maybe five times and never had a glitch.

Newbie here - I just found myself in this situation last night. I had made it through maybe 3-4 doors no prob - then get to nearly the end of a section with a "big baddie" only to find that I cannot break down the door now. Huh?



I AM using the boulder throw ability, have tried doing it up close and personal on the door, have tried the "bash" on the door....still a no go.



Finally I left this area, and went back to one of the first ones that you are unable to breach (because you have not yet aquired the Golem form) and I am still having the same issue.



Is the general consensus here that I am screwed and need to go back to a previous load and try it this way?



Any help/tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

One tip I can think of. Any time your game starts to glitch, act wierd, or whatever, keep in mind that this game has a known memory leak problem. The longer you play without quitting back to the Live Dashboard, the worse it gets. So, if you haven't left off the game fora a while, leave the game. Let the game write everything to the hd and either restart the game, or turn off your console and turn it back on. That might help. I have found that things start to get weird after about 4 or 5 hours.

Thanks! I did play quite a bit yesterday. I finally gave up. I'll try again tonight...I suppose if I get the same problem I'm stuck with reloading back to whatever point works?
