if only i could wear my sort of biker outfit instead of my armor it would be nice , it even have the slots to fit guns in the back and on the legs to support a pistol/smg, Miranda wears a latex suit in battle so why cant we wear casual outfits in missions ?

I have seen people be succesful with equipping casual outfits as armor, but you get the helmet-voice cause it reads as a full armor.

what i ment was without modding anything , there is already one outfit that could serve as one, the one kind of orange jacket with no sleeves that you can choose as casual , it even got the thing in the back to put weapons there and on at least one leg dont know about the other from the top of my head

Why can't the female Shepard have Miranda's outfit while the male one can have Jacob's?

I get the console versions of the game for the best experience (controller > keyboard mouse for RPG any day of the week, not to mention a 14-22" monitor is nothing compared to my 600hz refresh rate huge hdtv and a computer chair can't compare to my couch or bed, depending on which room I'm gaming in).

I buy the PC versions of the same games, when enough mods justify it. It worked with KoTOR 1 & 2 because they needed more content, especially KoTOR 2 (it was unfinished so they had that project to complete it).

Plain and simple. I'm appreciative I have the best of both worlds, however if I had to choose one place to play this game... it would be on my 360 with my huge hdtv and the 360 controller works great for Bioware rpg's. Using xpadder and controlmk to map your keys and mouse to your controller is full of fail for rpg's, it doesn't work right bcuz the HUD is almost always different.

Nice find, however the female nude mods are much better haha.

LOL, are you serious ?

I bet these aren't on the 360 version because Microsoft wants to sell them for $10 dollars!

Or BioWare will release them later. Oh well. Just beat my second playthrough. Going on to...third...INSANITY!!!

I'd say modifying the game could potentially effect whether or not it files will be importable to the next game. I am not a mod, but I wouldn't do it myself.

Very much doubt that since only your game choices carry over and your shepard face.

Good work on that mod btw, now get me miranda's leather suit for my femshep!. :P

You'd be surprised, how many people don't even know, what the inside of their PC looks like.
I'm not surprised at the "rabid" responses about the *cough*console*cough*, for the nubs who actually think, they have the best experience.
I have been through the code in this game, looking to improve the visuals, and guess what I found?
The consoles are restricted to 720P ROTFLMAO! NEEENNER NEENNER!!

It has been done by editing the ini. But I think there are still problems with it and I´ve only seen the default white being used.

Yes, coming from someone who is unbiased about systems, being I own them all not to mention a gaming laptop and desktop that can handle Crysis like butter.... yes the keyboard/mouse is very basic.. but it is not as good for RPG's... for FPS games it depends on the person using the controller.  Keyboard/mouse any little kid can pick up and learn no problem, it takes more time to master the controller but when you do, it pays off.

If you'd like to see the only official controller vs keyboard/mouse 1v1 in a game, it was for Halo PC (pro gamer with a 360 controller plugged into a PC vs another pro gamer using a keyboard/mouse.... held by IGN here is the link:

http://insider.ign.c...660/660505.html

If you don't have ign insider, you can still read the results in bold.  The pro gamer with the controller mopped the floor with the pro gamer with the keyboard/mouse.   Take it from someone who competes on the 360, PS3, and PC  =)   most 360 gamers were hardcore PC gamers who have rolled with the changes....  more casual gamers are on the wii & ps3.  Of course each platform has it's own fair share, I'm just saying most.

It's all about preference at the end of the day... but my reasons are clear as to why I choose 360 over PC, but why I still many times will buy it for the PC as well (just for the mods when I'm done with the regular game itself and all of the dlc and am left still wanting to play more.. otherwise I just move onto one of the other 78979877777 amazing games that are out there these days and coming out sooner more often than not nowadays).

Excuse me for choosing food over a gaming pc. That's the problem with pc gamers, they can't wrap their heads around facts like economics and "parents don't buy me things."

I of course play both when I can, as I am a true gamer, enjoying games no matter what platform they are on.

I don't have a preference or anything, but if I sit at a computer for 8-10 hours for 5 days a week at work I don't necessarily feel like sitting at a computer to play games.

you fail right there, you've been through the code for the PC version..... not to mention you have the option of playing most 360 games in 720p, 1080i, and 1080p.. apparently you don't own a 360 or have much experience with it.   Broke people need jobs.

I have a brand new hdtv and it tells me whatever I'm viewing on my screen is in terms of quality.  All I do is hit the lil info button on my tv remote.. and guess what, it says 1080p for most games.    =)   save up, buy yourself a top of the line hdtv..... and a 360 and/or ps3 and see how much better it looks than on a monitor no matter what resolution the monitor is, it is not the same to have the characters look sized to real life and every detail be amazingly clear.

I can't believe fanboys are still being bk randys.   I have every system and TWO ways to game on my PC... one is my desktop the other my laptop, I am not a fan of anything other than gaming itself.... and there's no way in the world with even the highest resolution possible that any 22" computer monitor will have the same visual satisfaction as my huge top of the line HDTV.

then again, some don't care about visuals and such as much as story, and convenience :P

at least thats in my book, My PC is for work, and web only and...for the most part is okay, Need to majorly upgrade the video card if I want any hope of playing a game released in the last 3 years >.>

But thats alright, I do envy modding... but on the same coin, I don't like the hastle of making sure every thing is up to specs, make sure a certain firewall or back ground application is not blocking the game or a factor of it that makes it run badly, crash,. And to be honest I can't stand keyboard mapping/controls it's a pain in the ass to me, and sorta painful on the hands

hence why I just prefer console versions...I don't get into this " whats better" as It's just a personal preference

what is bothering however.... is modders, and such unlock, or develop some of the best things...like this for example. And typically the companies ignore it completely...forget that most things moded are like 3 hours jobs for them they could throw out as a patch or DLC

I hate Sheps clothes... everything has the damn cerberus logo on it, or you get the clothing of a third world colonist ... more clothing options would add alot to the appeal.

More clothes, and other " fun" money sinks + selling resources= double the replay ability

Ugh, damn fanboy wars. Why cant people just accept that some like PC some like consoles, some out of necessity some out of whatever.

I am a PC gamer and hate exclusive titles, stripping away PC games potential to fit the console market but on the other hand the hardware requirements sink. I do not begrudge console gamers their opinion and it is financially a better choice in the end. But arguments like keyboard or controller is all about the user and not a universal truth, I gave up shooting with a controller long ago but that does not mean controllers suck, they just aernt intuitive for me. PC gamers usually are forced to do alot more to get things to work however, and that´s the price we pay for being able to tailor our games and enjoy better and smoother visuals.

But the argument about couch, tv/monitor whatever always makes me snicker. For 2 years I´ve been gaming from my couch on a HDTV with 5.1 surround sound with my computer, but I cant expect everyone to invest as much as I have chosen in entertainment.

Arguing is futile!

Guys relax! Enough with the PC vs. Consoles! We already know PCs are better, if you know how to use it correctly.

ON TOPIC

I've gotta test those casual outfits. I just hope armor pieces will come soon.

As long as there are two, there is war.

Still though, giving us more casual clothing would be a great DLC; fun, easy to make, and in demand.

So has anyone run into any problems with replacing the ini file? Eh, I guess it's not worth worrying about since I can just back it up.
