 I'm trying out a renegade infiltrator Shepard, and something weird just happened.  I selected Assassin as my evolved class power, and Shep's scars all but vanished!  The Renegade points are unchanged, but the scars went *poof*.

Is there any way to fix this?  I wanted to find out just how renegadeish Shep has to be before his face falls off.

when you buy the upgraded med bay the scars go away

you actually have to go to the med bay and use it. just buying it does nothing...

I don't think your face actually falls off, no.



But I would like to know how to evolve the infiltrator class power without losing all scars. Does anyone know?

I evolved my Renegade Infiltrator to Assassin with no problems.

Probably a graphical bug.

Benaq, did the scars stay the same on the Squad display? On mine they go back to the way they were after the first mission.

Hmm. It turns out that the scars vanish whether I evolve the Operative power into Assassin or Agent. Might anyone from BioWare have an idea why this is happening, and how I can prevent it?

I think I know why: it's probably the Paragon multiplier from the power evolution (either 70% or 100% or current Paragon points). Remember that being Paragon will also remove the scars, not just using the surgical bay!



So basically, be more renegade.

It doesn't help. Also, the bonus is 70% for level 3 Operative and for level 4 Assassin, so it shouldn't change after evolving the power to Assassin.



Oh well. I'll just live with it. Thanks to everyone who tried to help me figure this out.

This happened to me as well. My guy looked like ass from a blender, then I went assassin and he looked like a beauty queen.

Must be on your end, I still have my scars and everything.

I still have my scars but then again I imported my character. But I believe my first Renegade Infiltrator is full Renegade and has the full effect of bruising and scars.



I am on my third Infiltrator now and am not using the medical bay and she is coming along nicely in her scars. It must be some sort of glitch because even if you did have a bit of Paragon it shouldn't of removed all scars.

i have never gotten to full renegade scars yet, does anyone mention your face in the game at some point?

Seems to have been a brief glitch, my guy looks like a professional razor blade tester again!
